I though it would be fun to create a mug rug in a shape other than a rectangle or square and since it is Springtime and flowers are starting to show their beauty for us to enjoy, why not a flower shaped mug rug. Think Tulip shaped, daisy, rose or any other flower shape you might like. Yes, you may use a pattern or create something of your own.

This mug rug does not have to be big enough for a cookie/plate but should be big enough for a nice sized mug.
