Description:

Who wants to get a one of a kind fabric postcard? The requirements are easy. You make one and receive one. The fabric postcard needs to measure 4 x 6 inches at the time of mailing. The front can be any design or amount of stitching that you wish to do. The back needs to be a light colored fabric like muslin or heavy card stock so that you can easily see the address and information. Please write your partner a cheerful message. Make sure that you write the word postcard on the back. I use a permanent black pen to write on the back of the ones I send.

You can mail these to someone in the USA with a first class stamp. Internationally I would put it in an envelope. It usually costs about 98 cents to mail. You can put them in an envelope if you want to. I recommend sending them in envelopes. Sometimes the machines at the post office leave black ink on them.

Send something you would like to receive. You must have a rating of 4.8 or better to participate. If you are a newbie please have a completed profile for me to read. I will then decide if you can participate. No flakers please. Open to international participants.

You can find instructions on my website on how to make these. Go to the link above or to http://postypals.blogspot.com

I would like to join this swap but I am a newbie when making fabric postcards, so one side of the postcard has to be fabric and the otherside heavy duty card is this correct? hugs:)

No, both sides are fabric..

You can use card stock on the back or fabric. Either way is fine.

Ok I am completely new to internet swaps and would like to try and get into the fun. I have been in the monthly postcard swaps through our local guild for the past year and I love the seding and receiving and thought it would be fun to try an online one.

I haven't been on Swapbot for a while, but I am now on 2 months holiday and "just had a look" to see what swaps were around. I am in Fabric Postcard mode so I joined this one.
