I am married with 2 grown children and live in Massachusetts. I have always loved crafting. At the current time, I am working on knitting, quilting and embroidery projects. I work full time so I don't get to enjoy my hobbies as much as I would like.
I love swapping with others who share the same interests.
I will always fulfill my obligation as a swapper. If for some reason, you do not receive my swap, please PM me so we can resolve the problem. I also pledge to always rate the swap.
I love music! I love listening to the Oldies from the 60's and 70's. I like listening to classic rock.
My favorites are the Beatles, Beach Boys, Doobie Brothers, Motown, Billy Joel. My least favorite (which would also be my husband's favorite) is Country.
I am an avid reader. I will read almost anything. I carry a book with me constantly as you never know when there will be a few spare minutes to read. My favorite genre is mysteries.
Some favorite books that I have read lately are "Still Alice", "Eat, Pray, Love" and "The Girls from Ames".
My favorite craft is Quilting. I belong to a quilt guild and have several friends that are also quilters. I have made quilts for many family members and make some to donate to charities.
I recently learned how to knit socks and I'm having fun with that.
Favorites: pale and medium yellow, blues, medium greens, light pink. oranges. earth tones, creams, white black and white combinations.
Dislikes: Dusty pink, and red and black combinations. If the red and black has some white in it, it is okay, if it is just red and black, I won't like it.
Favorites:
I like Moda fabrics, Amy Butler, Anna Marie Horner, batiks, reproduction fabrics, tone on tones, polka dots, and florals.
When it comes to swapping noodles (5" strips) and fabrics, I am open to almost anything as it is a good way to build a stash.
Misc; Like teapots, tea cups, daisies, sunflowers, morning glories, snowmen, gingerbread men and pincushions.
Dislikes: Skulls and pirates, gothic, animal prints Civil war prints and Japanese fabrics.
