Description:

The theme for this button fairy swap is Christmas. It could be a Santa, snowman, angel, elf or one of your own Xmas themed ideas. You don't have to necessarily stick to just red & green. Xmas has been other wonderful colors as well. Silver, gold, glittery, blue, purple and white just to name a few.

Make the body of your button fairy backed with a medium/heavy card stock so it isn't flimsy.

Please put plenty of buttons on it for a tail please.

Please put a hanger on it or a magnet on the back. This way it may be hung from a Xmas tree or proudly displayed on a refridgerator.

QUALITY only item to be sent. Anyone not sending quality swaps will be dropped from this group. I want everyone to put forth a great effort and only send something they would love to receive!

Since this is not profile based, you can start right away.

This swap is for all regions due to the light postage weight. International/Canada/USA

Have a blast!

I have never made a button fairy before but have been wanting to give it a try:) They are so pretty and look very simple to make. May just have to join in on this one:)) In watch for now.

Should I dare? This would be my very first one... maybe I should look them up in Flickr...

okay I'm ready to try to make one of these.....I will just feel a little sorry for my partner since I have never made a button fairy before, I hope they will have patience and understand however, I will send only something that I would be proud to receive... thanks (rye rye) for hosting this making me think outside the box ...

ryerye, can you point of newbies in the direction of some good photo examples? I'd hate to join this swap, make something that doesn't measure up, then me dropped from the group!

I've never made one of these before either. I'm going to follow this button fairy tutorial I found on flickr. I hope it turns out okay.

Wow Cindy! That is so good! I just made my first one and I thought it turned out good, but now I am a little intimidated, haha. I feel like mine isn't up to par now. Oh, well, it is my first and I think I did a great job. I hope my partner likes it!
