This swap is for our sewing queens out there! For this swap you will take old scraps, new fabric, old hats, (be creative) and you will from all these pieces make a crazy/blanket/quilt for your partner. The size requirement should be at least 5ft by 3ft. Can be bigger if youd like. An idea that I am going to do is like the one I created in the picture. I took old shirts I didnt wear anymore, I went to thrift store and bought cool old shirts with neat patterns on the front, shirts with cool pictures, logos and designs and sewing them up together. Then I went to a fabric store and bought a cozy fleece for the bottom part. I did not fill the inside with batting , it was not needed and this blanket is my favortite! This is for expierenced sewers who have made blankets before. The fabrics do not need to match as this is for scrap pieces and some new pieces. Since this is a very time consuming project no newbies are allowed. You must have at least 20 rated type 3 swaps. No ones or threes in the past three months. This blanket should be machine washable xoox This swap should be very fun and I cant wait to see what we all create! For the people who have already made something like this I would love to see your work even if you dont participate in this swap, and for the participants of this swap when you are done making your blanket/quilt id love to see pics, you can email to channonlindlief@rocketmail.com You will have one month to complete this swap that should be enough time :) And this is a USA only due to postage...If enough internationals would like to participate I will make an international one just let me know Also any questions please feel free to ask :) xoxo HAPPY SWAPPING |
