Description:

this swap is for all of those who love origami wishing stars!

for this swap you will have two partners. you will send them precut wishing star paper (either store bought if youre lucky enough to live near a big city's chinatown or order them online regularly) AND a small container of your choice filled with stars you have folded yourself. the amount of precut star strips and folded stars that you send is up to you, but please remember to send something you yourself would be happy to recieve. the container you send your stars in can be glass, plastic, fabric, decorated matchbox (250 count please, not 32, unless you fold really tiny stars), use your imagination!

if you can not find star paper in your area dont worry, the internet solves everything! not only can you buy and slice larger sized origami paper, there are users on deviantart.com that have star paper patterns for you to print out at home, and if you want to take that extra special step there is a user named blackheartqueen that has a blank lucky star template uploaded that you can use to customize and print your own. ive included the link here:

http://blackheartqueen.deviantart.com/art/Blank-LuckyStar-Paper-Template-94046763

get creative and design your own off of either your favorite colors, characters, or your swap partners profile interests. have fun with it! just remember if you choose to go the printer route all sent star paper MUST be PRE-CUT. no one likes to cut their own star paper, half the fun is fold-and-go!.

this swap is international (the best star paper is never local amirite?), and open to newbies with full profiles. i WILL angel but i really hope i wont have to. this is my first ever swap im hosting so dont make me sad by being flakes you guys.

im setting the send date for the end of the year because everyone deserves to start the new year in with stars :)

I loooove lucky stars but with the end of the semester, I have to watch for now because I want to make sure I can get to the post office and everything before Christmas, even though I know I'll have to go! But I don't want to overtax myself. :3

I want to do this, but feel the need to try a few first. - I am watching for now & might join if I think I can produce quality stars for everyone.

I would love to join but only to exchange star paper, because sending a package internationally it´s too expensive. If for some reason you decide that just sending the paper will be ok then I´m in. Thanks! I think this is a very original swap

aresis...it doesnt have to be a big package, a bubble mailer can work just fine with some smaller flatter containers...even a decorated plastic baggie can work if youre that concerned with keeping costs down.

Maybe next time... I want to do it but it´s the worst time of the year for me and more commitments! Thanks anyway!
