(Please note. This is a swap for the U.S. only. If you'd like to create an international version, please feel free.)

I saw these tins in a magazine a long time ago and I thought it was a great idea...and a great challenge. (I've already done this swap once and it was great fun!)

For this swap: take a tin. Altoids, old AOL cd tin...any tin with a lid you can alter. Create for the tin a mini quilt that fits inside and decorate the top accordingly. The quilt should be placed securely inside and feel free to embellish it at will.

Think quilt square in a box.

You'll have one partner and two weeks. If you are going to be late for whatever reason, please let your partner (and me!) know. Please rate properly when you do receive your tin; remember, you rate on whether or not it met the requirements of the swap, not if you liked it or not. Should you not receive a tin, please contact your partner and if you can't resolve it, you will be angeled.

Newbies welcome if they contact me beforehand and I reserve the right to drop anyone from the swap that I think might be a problem.

your instructions are quite confusing, repeated and after 'think quilt square in a box, the first time it says one partner and two weeks and the second one says one partner and one month to complete the swap. Can you clarify??? Thanks.

Based on the send date it looks like you have 2 weeks to complete the quilt.

Oh, sorry! I fixed it...I didn't realize I'd pasted twice and totally screwed up the whole thing!

But yes, it's one partner, one quilt in a tin, and you have two weeks to complete/send.

Again sorry!
