If you like me, find baking therapeutic, calming and satisfying join me on this challenge - 52 Weeks of Baking!

We will start off in April (although I've already started I will make my official start date in April) and you can bake any day of the week of your choice.

What we will swap -
1) A little paragraph about the day of the baking and the experience gained that day. 2) A photo of the result 3) A link to the recipe if found on line or state where it is found, and a review of it - eg: if it's good or not, or if you made some modification

What you can bake - anything! Sweet or savory but it must be baked in an oven, fan-forced or not. But not a microwave oven. Drying fruits is not considered baking in this challenge!

We will start with 2 partners and as this grows we will add more. You are welcomed to stay the entire challenge or join in as and when you like. We will swap emails every Tuesdays.

I appreciate your support by joining me!

Wow, this sounds like so much fun, only hope I can find 52 new recipes to bake. I am looking forward to seeing everyone elses, and maybe trying some new recipes that get sent to me.

Got any amazing muffin and/or quick bread recipes? I would love to receive them. Thanks!!

I do not have an oven (just a micro) but if anyone would like to share their stories with me, I am all for that.

Thank you.

Would it be cheating if I blogged about it and emailed my direct link to my blog post with the picture, the recipe and review?

redrubyonfire 03/22/2010 #

RavenMiller - Is your micro one of those which has a built in conventional oven as well? That could do it. Wishing you could join us! TheCaffeinatedStamper - I think you should cut and past the post in your email, then also include the link to the post. Pictures would be nice too! I will be blogging about this too. Actually I've already started, but officially my start date is with you guys in April. Just needed the practice LOL! Here is my blog if you are interested - http://redrubyonfire.blogspot.com/

Hi, just a thought but as this is an email swap, how about we have more partners to send to... and that way we all receive lots more recipes...? Sorry, just can't wait to get started on this and the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned!! :o)

Pawprints 03/30/2010 #

I have to say I'm excited for this one because one of my goals this year was to learn how to cook or bake since I've never been good at it. I hope my first baking project is edible ;)

This will be fun. I don't know how to get a photo from my camera into an email, though. I hope I can figure it out by the deadline. Also -- It may get to be a pain to have to remember to re-sign up every week, especially since I don't have access at home right now. Could you assign partners one month at a time, perhaps?
