Original 2D art: beginner friendly US/Canada

I do love original artwork. Seeing someone's interpretation of a real object, or the product of her imagination.

Join us in this swap, where we will each:
* create one piece of original artwork which is flat-mail-able
* size should be at least 5"x7"
* medium can be anything - pen & ink; watercolors; charcoal; mixed media/ collage; oil painting; pastels; needlefelting; whatever medium you would like to work with
* sign the artwork in whatever your usual fashion is

Please:
* when you join, please note below if there is any general theme you would prefer, and also if there is something you wish to not receive (offensive material of any kind) - please do not be super specific - you're not commissioning an art piece, lol
** NOTE** There should be no rating down for differences in artistic taste, skill level of your partner, etc - this is meant to be a fun art swap for anyone who likes to create, from the total beginner to the accomplished artist
* Newbies with a well-filled-out profile are welcome
* not-so-newbies are welcome if they have a minimum of 4.8 rating overall, with no 1s nor 3s in the last 3 months
