Any color is fair game, so you may send two of the same color or two different colors or 4 different colors! The possibilities are endless. If you send 2 or more of the same color, please try to make them the same dye lot so that the recipient can create a larger project with them.

Extra accessories are welcome but not necessary.

(good quality = approximately $6+ per skein).

Any type of wool is fair game, but it must be 100% wool. If you choose a wool blend, please make sure that the blend is of two types of wool. No wool/synthetic blends or any other combination.

Preferences for wool/colors may be left below in the comments.

Happy swapping :o)

Is this your first swap? You have nothing marked in your profile and lately people are not sending out their swaps. This sounds like a great Idea but im going to wait until you recieve some feedback. Sorry im sure you are a great swapper but I have participated in 4 swaps so far that I got nothing in return.

Jen -

you have gotten nothing for your swaps? that makes me very leary and I think I have participated in a few that you have also. this is my fourth and I have been successful so far...........yes, this is her first swap and I can vouch for her since she is my daughter AND I encouraged her to get on this site since she is very active with other online swap sites.

Hi everyone, yes, this is my first swap. I just discovered swap-bot recently from my mom. I'm signed up to participate in another swap, but this will be my first host. Sorry for the confusion :)

Well, I'm game. I've been burned a few times, too. Out of the five letter for me swaps, I've gotten three letters. ?! And no response when I've emailed. And I'm out a shrine (and I spent days on mine) - that is the worst! So, please don't burn me on this one whoever gets my name! :)

Sissie: I like red and I prefer soft wool...the softer the better.

i just got my package of really pretty red wool with multi-colored speckles.....it's gorgeous!!! Thanks so much to Cassandra!! My daughter already tried to claim it for a hat and mittens! Jen

I got my package today! Thank you! The cotton yarn will be washcloths (a bonus) and the wool will be a hat perhaps or mittens or a small felted purse.... The stitch markers you won't believe are my first! I've been using plastic circles!

Thanks so much for the creamy wool and the tweedy wool also. I was so excited to get a package all the way from Norway.
