Description:

EDITED TO ADD: Sorry for the misunderstanding. This is not a matchbox swap. That was a copy/paste error from another swap. Any project that fulfills the online challenge is fine.

This is a new type of swap for me. I've just been accepted as a designer for a challenge blog. For those of you not familiar with challenge blogs, you get the details of the challenge once a week, you create according to the challenge rules and link your project up. On this particular blog, the DT (design team) gals choose the winning project and three runners up. Wanna play? Our Creative Corner

There is a new challenge every Saturday. You can play any of the next three Saturdays, Feb 5th, 12th, 19th, then I'll leave a few days for mailing after the last week's cards are judged on Wednesday, March 2nd. Unless otherwise stated, you can create any paper crafted item, most make cards, you like but keep in mind that you must mail it to your partner. Make sure you follow the directions including linking up your project. You can put your photo on a blog or in any public gallery like Flickr or Splitcoast Stampers. Both offer free membership. If you'd like to start a blog, even if you'll only use it for things like this, let me know and I'll help you. In case you are wondering, I won't be looking at your names until after all three weeks of cards are judged so I won't be swayed by who you are!

Stickers, AS ACCENTS, should be limited to high quality scrapbooking or card making stickers, not the kind meant for kids or teacher’s reward stickers.

If you use rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas or double lines are not acceptable. Please do not use computer generated images or sentiments because I have been very disappointed by images printed in very poor quality lately. (If you print them well using very good quality paper and ink, your partner won’t know and can’t rate you badly for it can they?? Wink wink!)

Please make a beautiful project you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight.

Please don't be discouraged by my rules. I am only referring to general tidy practices, not tiny flaws. I've received a card so saturated with glue I could knock on it and get hollow noises! I've received a note book with edges that looked like they had been cut with a saw! I just expect tidy work!

Please check your partner’s profile for dislikes and avoid those. For instance, do not put bugs on mine because I hate bugs and that is on my profile.

Please have a 4.95+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up deadline. Newbies are welcome with WELL FILLED out profiles (About Me, Likes, Dislikes at least) and MUST PM me at least 3 days before the end of the swap to show good intentions. A newbie is someone with less than 5 completed and rated type 2 or 3 swaps. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out. If you are really worried, give me a heads up! I’ve only been a member since March and been flaked on too many times, I've stopped keeping track, so I get it!

Enjoy, Rebecca

Can you include another link? I cannot use the one in the body of the description. Thank you.

We don't have to make a matchbox, do we? See the wording from your post. >>>>>>> Please make a beautiful matchbox you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight. <<<<<

To answer Maranada222, here is the link - http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/. This is a great challenge for February 5th too. SEE (create a card or project using a tree image and a clean and simple (CAS) style. What qualifies as CAS? Well, that's mostly up to you - generally it will be a quicker/less cluttered/clean line style.)

Thanks for answering for me Clarian. I have edited the swap. This is not a MB swap. Any project that fulfils the online challenge is fine.

One question - do we send our card with an envelope so our swap partner can use the card?
