The first one was so much fun, I just had to do it again...NEWBIES WELCOME! Are you a fan of urban or street art? Do you love elaborate graffiti art? Well here's your chance to create your own self-made graffiti art without breaking the law! You can think of tagging as a sort of 'signature'/'business card'. A lot of the time it's just the tagger's name done in their own art style, and the artist usually tries to place it in as many spots as they can to increase their visibility and reputation within the community. For this swap, you will make a handmade postcard with YOUR PARTNER'S swap-bot name "tagged" on the picture side of the postcard (thanks for the suggestion CArollinbabe!). Read their profile and make the tagging reflect their personality! There are so many cool forms of tagging out there. has a few good examples of what a typical tag would look like, along with lettering templates if you're trying to get ideas. Make it awesome, colorful, but most of all, make sure it represents your artistic style!! On the back of the postcard, tell you partner a little about yourself. You will have one partner. Please make sure you make your postcard out of heavy card stock or some other sturdy material. Be creative! Have fun with this, and unleash your inner rebel! This is the first time we're doing this swap, so if you're reluctant because you don't want to do a bad job, there's no right or wrong way to tag!! I encourage all of you to give it a try!! :) |
