Description:

I haven't seen this swap yet, but if someone has already done this, let me know and I will happily give you credit :)

So for this swap you will send 1 self-mailing letter (that means NO envelope is involved) to 3 partners introducing yourself. I found a website called Letterfu.com and they have designs and instructions on how to print out a template to mail. Its really neat and the best part, its only 1 stamp and because of that, this swap will be open to International swappers as well :)

This will be a newbie friendly swap and a min rating of 4.8. Hope you guys join and if you have any questions or input, please feel free to contact me :)

Here are the instructions from the website and the link: http://www.letterfu.com/index.php

Step One: Print a Design onto a sheet of A4 or Letter paper from letterfu.com * Select a layout from the list of designs. * Take a blank sheet of A4 or Letter paper. * When printing, MAKE SURE PAGE SCALING IS SET TO "NONE"! Otherwise, the fold won't work properly.

Step Two: Write your letter * Write your letter on the unprinted side of the letter. Use a ballpoint pen if you have thin paper - it shows through the other side less. * Be creative! Doodle, and don't worry about keeping your writing in straight lines. Wild letters are much more fun to read.

Step Three: Address the letter * Write the address of the person you're sending the letter to on the letter before you fold it. * Write your own address on the reverse so that the letter can be sent back to you if it doesn't make it to your recipient.

Step Four: Fold the letter * Fold the letter up as per the instructions on the printed side. All of the folds are "mountain" folds (i.e. they all cover up the written side of the letter) with the exception of fold five, which is a "valley" fold.

Step Five: Stamp and Send! * Place a stamp across the diagonal edge on the front of the letter to help hold it closed. * Drop the letter in any letterbox!

it has to be from this site? Cause I have many store bought folding letter pads that I could use

Hi when are we being matched up? As i dont want to run out of time to send!

RedLucha 04/30/2011 #

No athana, it can be from anywhere, as long as its a self mailing letter. :)

Are we supposed to have gotten our addresses already!? Because I haven't yet, unless I'm not seeing it...? I've never done this before so I don't know how it works.
