Can you believe it's time to look for "U" postcards? Your postcard should feature an item, show a name of something that begins with the letter "U" (person, place or thing in California on the front or back of the post card, please print or write legibly the item that is the "U" word for your postcard. As an example of a "U" card, you could pick a postcard with the word or photo of a city or location, such as Ukiah, Union City, Universal City or Upper Lake, Universal Studio or a university. Find things on the card like an umbrella, or umbrella fern, tree, plant or tent. How about an undershirt, something underwater, utensils, U.S. mail box or a U.S. government building in California If you find the color "ultramarine", it's yours:) Check out the back of the postcard for descriptions too. It may have words like Union, umpire, or have a U.S. barcode. Just link the letter "U" with what's on the postcard on the back of your postcard. Write the recipient's name and address on the postcard and mail (not in an envelope). You can certainly tell your partner why you chose the card too, but that is not part of the swap requirements, just a little extra nice thing to do. This is a store-bought post card only. I reserve the right not to accept a person with a recent low rating. |
