Description: | |
I recently hosted a swap like this, and it was so much fun that I want to do it again! You will take a piece of stiff paper or cardstock and draw your Zentangle strings with pencil. Paper can be any size between 3" and 12". Then cut your paper into pieces, and mail one piece to each of your partners. Your partner will Zentangle the piece and mail it back to you (at which point you should rate them and thank them), and you will end up with a composite Zentangle made by many different people. How many partners will you have? That depends on how many people sign up for the swap! If 10 people sign up, you will send to nine people (because you won't send to yourself :)). If fewer sign up, then you have fewer stamps to buy. How should you cut up your tangle? It's up to you. You can cut it so that there is an extra piece for yourself, or not. Cut with straight lines, curves, puzzle pieces... anything goes. Since this will be a composite, let's keep these traditional Zentangles - meaning black ink on white paper. If you want to add some shading, go for it, but no colors please. If you'd like your tangle to have a border, please mark this somehow, maybe by x-ing out the border areas with pencil. That way your partner knows not to tangle there. Dates will be as follows: Please let me know if there are questions! |
