Are you sure you want to signup for Seek & Send: scavenger hunt?

Yes, sign me up! or No, I changed my mind.

Welcome! This is the first swap I’m hosting 😊 Thank you to everyone who decides to join!

This swap it’s a scavenger hunt, and the idea is to spend some time searching for or choosing the items. Below, you’ll find a list of 20 specific items, and you must choose at least 7 of them and send them to one partner.

Include a note listing the numbers of the items you chose, so your partner knows which ones they are receiving.

ㅤㅤ

Choose 7 items from this list:

  1. A train or bus ticket from a trip you took

  2. A dried flower or leaf from a tree in your yard or favorite park (tell your partner where it’s from)

  3. A flyer, business card or receipt from a place you enjoy visiting

  4. A bookmark that you made, received or has sentimental value

  5. An item you’ve always wanted to send in a swap but never had the chance

  6. Something that smells good (like a sachet or a sample of your favorite perfume)

  7. Something you received in a swap but didn’t like or won’t use

  8. A magnet (either purchased or taken from your own fridge)

  9. Packaging from something that made you really happy when you bought it

  10. A tea bag or coffee sachet that you’ve never tried before (must be individually sealed)

  11. A piece of fabric or ribbon with a unique or beautiful pattern/color

  12. A stationery item, like a decorated sheet of paper or a note card that you love, but never used

  13. A drawing made by you of a happy childhood memory (stick figures are fine!), along with a note sharing that memory

  14. An item from a collection you started but never finished – such as ATCs, stamps, coins, or anything else you used to collect but no longer do

  15. A to-do list you made in the past and fully completed, but you haven't thrown it away yet

  16. A page from a written journal, bullet journal, or junk journal

  17. A recipe you’ve never made, taken from a cookbook or a recipe notebook

  18. A fake coin (such as those used in claw machines or casinos)

  19. A postcard you’ve kept for a long time because you love it too much to send (maybe it’s your last one of that design!)

  20. Ask a friend or family member who is not a swapper to choose a flat item for you to send. Don’t give them suggestions – let them pick freely!

ㅤㅤ

Rules:

• Avoid sending items 6 (something scented) and 10 (tea or coffee) together, so your partner doesn’t end up with flavored tea that tastes like perfume

• If you receive 8 items from the list, rate your partner a 5, even if you don’t personally like some of the items

• If you don’t receive your package or receive it with missing items, message your partner first to clarify the situation before leaving a 1 or 3 rating. Be kind!

• Keep in mind that this is an international swap, so you must be willing to cover the shipping cost. Also, packages may take longer to arrive compared to regional swaps.
