About Me

I'm a wife and mother to an angel in Heaven. My son had a rare genetic disorder and went to be with Jesus at the age of 17. It's been the hardest journey ever. But God has never left me!

I love any craft. I've been out of it for awhile since my son passed away. But so happy my coworker told me about this site. I love antiques and the folk art look.

Can't wait to meet other swappers!

Favorite Crafts

I enjoy painting, knitting, making card really almost any craft. Love gardening and flowers. I do not like anything gothic, skulls etc. nor plastic flowers etc. I love Victorian but not lacy and frilly.

I love anything of the classic Winnie the Pooh. Also collect Willow tree Angels.

Love birds....especially cardinals!

Favorite color is purple!

Enjoy baking breads, sweets etc.

Love antiques and old vintage collections. Love old or new dish towels, pillowcases or handkerchief with pretty embroidery.

Love mason jars and love the new chalk paints!

Starting to collect any of the original Holly Hobbie items. Reminds me of my childhood. Also love the old vintage Christmas items. (Or any holiday vintage). My new relaxing thing is coloring. So any gel pens is greatly appreciated.

Comment: Thank you for your enjoyable letter and for the teas! The Christmas tea is new to me and I look forward to trying it! You asked about a tea to help you sleep. Well, I find if I steep fresh parsley for 30 minutes and drink it just before I go to bed I will sleep perfectly the whole night through. If you try to drink it more than a few minutes before bed it won't work, at least ways it doesn't for me. I hope this can help you! I was sorry to hear you lost your son. :( I can only imagine how hard this must be, but what a blessing to know you will see him again! Thanks again. :)
