Hi! My name is Charlotte McNeill. I am 34 and a year 3 teacher from Victoria, Australia. I have two teenage boys and love to write letters and create happy mail in my spare time. My Nan was my favourite pen pal and instilled in me the love for sending and receiving hand written letters which always included magazine clippings, soap stickers and Mrs Grossman’s bear stickers.

I love nice paper and stickers! I am an active member of Australian swap groups and SWAPBOT is my first international swap group (which I am very excited about). I have stickii, Pipsticks, Mrs Grossman and Papergang subscriptions (Pipsticks originals are by far my favourite!) I also enjoy anything handmade. So if it’s tags, ATCs, anything creative, I just adore and appreciate the time and creativity that goes into happy mail. I have started using water colour paints in my paper art.

I love making and receiving happy mail as I enjoy journaling, making flip books, tags, bookmarks, cards and have begun making my own art-envelopes. I would like to meet and swap with others that like making their own happy mail and samples to share. I love to draw, paint, and sing. I am passionate about upcycling and use this in my designs. I love gardening, bugs, butterflies, my cat, dogs and bunny (all animals really) and I also love anything quirky and a bit different. I like steam punk - I love mermaids and unicorns but not the cartoon kids type, more the authentic type... I love carnival theme as I have been collecting and hoarding anything related. I love birds, mermaids, unicorns and Alice in Wonderland on ATCs.

Books:

Avid reader, there isn’t much I won’t read. I prefer fantasy books; Game of thrones, Harry Potter, Tolkien, The Hunger Games, Alice in Wonderland and anything written by Roald Dahl. Currently reading Boy who swallowed the universe and loving it!

Movies:

I don’t watch a lot of movies other than the ones listed above in books. I love Disney movies!

Postcards and ATCs:

I love art and illustrated postcards the most! I would like any illustration, but especially mystical creatures, flora and fauna, and anything artistic or abstract. I appreciate handmade ones as they show creativity. I always prefer handmade than bought from a store.

My loves are:

Beautiful letter writing paper, anything hand made, mystical creatures such as mermaids and unicorns, sparkly things, pretty things, florals, bugs, bees, butterflies, Disney, stickers, writing paper, any type of nice paper, animals, anything cat or bunny related, springtime, coffee, rainbows and unicorns, coffee, chocolate, lollies, vintage, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, gold, pastel, turquoise, purple, carnival themes, anything new age/pagan related, postcards (not of places/locations), peacocks, swans, koalas, turtles, seahorses and really anything ocean or beach themed. Woodland/forest creatures and themes are a real favourite too! Mushrooms, deer, hedgehogs, trees. I like pastels and pretty bright colours.

Dislikes: fluro colours, word stickers, planner stickers.
