I Iove colors of the Adirondack- Dark Greens, Dark Golds and Dark Reds. Could also use Dark Oranges and Dark Browns. Could also use Civil War prints and some small dot fabric.
Well I am retired, after working the same job for 32 years. I was afraid I was going to be sad, but it either has not hit me yet or I was ready to go and did not realize it.I have a 6 year old nephew who has plans for me, I had to pick him up from school and make his favorite meal. What a treat for me I will enjoy this until his friends come first.
I listen to radio but as far as music goes I will listen to anything.
I love to read and I don't watch scary movies but I love a good scary book that holds my interest and I can finish it in a day or two.
Any movie that you can watch with a six year old nephew. We have moved from Sponge Bob to up to date Mall Cop.
When I can watch TV I like Army Wives, House, and Law and Order. Just started watching Cold Case and Home Make Over. Home at night, now hope to pick up a few more while sewing at night.
Love to make cloth dolls, animals (chickens and sheep), quilts and pocketbooks/tote bags. Make a lot of home made items at X-Mas. I am just starting to get back into sewing. 1st project cloth rolled color pencil holders, 20 for 1st grade class for my nephew.Well I never did make the pencil bags. Second grade lucked out no gifts. 3rd grade going to try and make Halloween bags for the kids.
I love my nephew, he is the last in a long line of ten. He is only 6 and at 5 he had a brain tumor and came out of it with flying colors. He had the greatest doctors and the best hospital. You learn to not take things for granted. I never had children but I was able to be around some of the best nieces and nephews and I got to spoil them all, but him being the last he gets extra spoiled.
I hate paying bills, but don't we all. I have learned that life is way to short and having too many dislikes just makes life miserable. My motto's: just go with the flow and all will work out and everything happens for a reason.
I would like a Bernina 830, A quilting machine, I would like to lose 50 lbs, I love to be able to see the ground with the first flowers of spring poking through, I would love to find time to finish a couple of quilts I started.Well I had to up my profile because I am trying to get into another swap group. She stated that when it comes to wishes I should not put in my life wishes but what I would like to receive in a swap. You have to know that I have crafted for years with my mother up until she past away. We have so much stuff that it is hard to ask for anything. I also work in a quilt shop that has over 4500 bolts of the best fabrics, the only thing we don't carry are Moda's but I would not ask for them because I would not be able to send any back. I am sorry that I don't have a better wish list. I was just looking for something fun to do with people that appreciate great swaps and wonderful cottons.

Hi, Claudia! I'm your partner for the Fabric Swap so I came over to read your profile. I was so happy to read that your nephew is doing well! :) Also, working in a quilt shop must be like heaven!
