I am an arist, living in Northern California.

Originally from Michigan, I grew up on a small farm. We kept chickens and pigs and rabbits. I love animals. Pretty much anything with animals, be it sleepy puppies or taxidermy.

Rarely a day goes by that i do not have a ribbon around my neck. Since I'm allergic to most metals on my skin, I usually wear ribbons as an alternative to necklaces. Ribbons that are about one inch wide work the best!

I try to make a point of riding my bike everyday. I love exploring my neighborhood.

I have my BFA with an emphasis in Drawing. I love drawing with charcoal and ink. People, and animals are my favorite things to draw. I also paint, I really like to paint over old wooden plaques.

I like to collect kitschy ceramic animal figurines, i have a modest collection of cats in my kitchen.

I used to do a lot of antique shopping in Michigan. I have a large collection of Marushka prints. It's very hard to find cute vintage things here in the Bay Area. Anything mod, retro, kitschy would really make my day.

As for colors, I really like red, gray, olive green, brown, blue.

I also really enjoy sewing and altering clothes i pick up at thrift stores.

Organic and all natural bath products are awesome!
I take a lot of baths, and shower compulsively.

I read a lot, I love trashy vampire novels and dark classics like Wuthering Heights. Funny pretentious books like Confederacy of Dunces, and anything by Ben Marcus. Ballard, Murakami, Salinger. Also books about animals like Watership Down, The Plague Dogs. And Phillip Pullman, is amazing too.
