I am primarily a beader and love collage art and ATC's as well. Love vintage photos, muted colors and dark alleys (just kidding.) I love my garden, flowers, dragonflies and ladybugs. I drink green tea and chai and love anything chocolate. I'm a poet and collector of "junk." I used to have one junk drawer, now i have about 20 shoe boxes appropriately labled to contain my "junk." I love Japanese WASHI and other specialty papers. I have some papyrus that is sitting here waiting for a special project. I'm not fond of orange and yellow.
If anyone has me for a swap and they knit or crochet - I don't and I'd love to have anything you make for me! Especially something to keep me warm, i'm always cold.
I have pierced ears, prefer silver to gold, I really don't wear gold at all. I also like copper. I like hand made funky jewelry, that's mostly what I make as well. I'm not afraid of big. I love chunky necklaces and am not afraid of big/long/shiny earrings. I like all kinds of bracelets.
I love anything people have put their heart into, it shows. I love animals, i have 3 ferrets, 2 rats, a cat and my daughter has a hamster. I have two kids (my just teen daughter and my almost 7yo son) and a husband of 16 years. Well, he's not sixteen, oh my lord how i wish . . .nevermind, we've been together 16 years. He fishes, i craft. I love the beach, Cape May, NJ in particular and hope to retire there. I also love Maine, which is weird because I always knew I would even though I'd never been there till I was married 2 years. My husband has family there and ever since we've been going at least every other year on vacation. If it weren't for the winters I'd retire there. Ocean and Mountains, what more could one want?
I love to be outdoors and if i could figure out a way, would live outside all the time and never come in the house, but my craft stuff keeps blowing away. Bummer. If you haven't received your swap by the ratings date, please e-mail me. I am very reliable, as you can see below. If your swap hasn't arrived and you're overseas - it may take longer, one heavy package to Belgium lately took 6 weeks! I always send by the send by date. I will also promise to e-mail my partners before I rate them a 1 to find out if they've had a problem but I prefer if my partners let me know ahead of time if their swaps will be late. I am very forgiving, within reason for lateness.
