I like rock, heavy metal and even some thrasher. Breaking. Benjamins, Volbeat, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch and many many more. I love to go to concerts. I go to 1 or 2 a year. My favorite venue is the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon.
I read mostly paranormal... Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher, Kelley Armstrong, Patrica Briggs, Kim Harrison, Illona Andrews. When I step outside that box it's mostly historical fiction, craft books and humor. I also love classics like Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz series and anything Dr Suess.
I like paper dolls. I am very interested in papercrafts and in mail art. I get distracted in the craft store and always come home with new scrapbook paper, whether or not I have a project in mind! I just started to do mail art and zentangles. Both are pretty enjoyable. I'm still a beginner, but I am having a blast learing.
I love postcards. I hand make them, buy them and swap them through postcrossing. I have been collecting them for a couple of years... more or less. I enjoy all types of postcards touristy, non-touristy, random, creepy, bizzare, nature, architecture, native costume, fashion, color, b&w... really anything you send will be enjoyed!
I love the color blue all shades!! I love birds, I swear I get the audoban magazine solely to cut out bird pictures! My favorite bird is the raven, followed by the crow, then any bird that is monocromatic before the colorful birds.
I'm a big fan of illistrations. Right now my favorite illustrator is Arthur Rackham. My favorite contemporary illustrator is Emily Martin... she has the "black apple" store on esty.
I have been joining ATC swaps and I am really impressed. Everyone is so creative! It is amazing to see how many great ideas can fit in that small space.
Every once in a while I've been sent a book page written in a language other than English, I would like to say "thank you" to those people and assure you that it has gone to good use!

Thanks so much for joining my swap. I know bugs are everyone's cup of tea, but some of them I absolutely love,
This bug is probably my favorite.I like to handle these bugs. They are very still at first, usually because they are cold, but then they warm up with the warmth of your hand and begin to move about. AWESOME!!!! May I introduce the millipede! (This one is the giant variety, so cool)
Perhaps my second favorite is the Dung Beetle. I love that they recycle...LOL! I have acutally seen these guys in action. So neat how they work together to roll the dung ball.
Now here is one that I will run from. It gave me chills just looking at the picture.....YUCK!! This is a camel back cricket ( Some folks call these cave crickets). Actually ALL crickets and grasshoppers are terrifying to me. EEEEWWWWWWW!!!
These are some of my other favorites:
This is the Zebra Swallowtail! I like all butterflies, but this is my favorite.
Dragonflies used to creep me out, but I have come to love them. They are awesome predators!
This is the peacock spider. This particular one is the male. Here is a link to an awesome video showing the mating dance they do, It is AWESOME, in case you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_yYC5r8xMI
Hope this wasn't too creepy a swap. I really really enjoyed it,

I love caterpillars - here is a stange fuzzy one.
I like bugs-but not on my face!
My husband is not allowed to get these eels or any other type of eel for the fishtank!
I found this when doing my Flip Flops swap!
I wish I had it for LIFE'S a Beach too ;-) So here's another extra ;-) LOL
