About Me

I'm a Louisiana girl transplanted in Texas. My favorite city is New Orleans. My favorite authors are Douglas Adams (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) & Anne Rice (Interview with a Vampire). I love to read short stories primarily of the supernatural variety. I enjoy baking & sewing, but have time for neither.

I collect a little bit of anything and everything that seems interesting including salt and pepper shakers, souvenir spoons, books, rosaries, and stereoscopic views. My favorite holiday is Halloween.

I collect the old stereoview cards as seen on this website http://www.stereoviews.com/. I don't want to trade any that I have, but I would be willing to trade other items for stereoview cards if someone has some taking up space. I can offer postcards, pocket letters, crafting items, scrap costume jewelry, or any other items that may be of interest. If there is something you collect, let me know & maybe we can make arrangements.

I love postcards! I have a postcrossing account. I'm the founder of the Facebook group Vamp Stamp (a Anne Rice inspired postcard exchange). There's a link at the top if you care to join.

I enjoy receiving postcards with interesting & unusual artwork. Homemade & advertisement cards are fine. I don't collect any specific type of card. I am catholic. I really enjoy artwork of the saints, traditional style catholic/orthodox churches/cathedrals. Really anything with catholic or orthodox artwork/ theme would be nice, but other than that, nothing religious please.

2019: Best of Show in cobbler

That's funny that you mention The Jungle Book. My mother gifted me with the new live-action version for my birthday in December of 2016 and, after watching it, I wanted to watch the animated version to hear how the characters were "supposed" to sound...

But when I went to find my DVD of it, I couldn't find it. :-(

So I need to find a new DVD of the animated version, too. In fact, it's one of my "bare necessities," even. ;-)
