My name's Meredith. I've got three cats, a rabbit, an insane parakeet, and a little orange rooster with a major napoleon complex.
I'm currently without a computer and will be checking swap-bot from the library. So, if I don't respond to you right away, please be patient!
Here are a few of the things that make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside... Bikes, long bicycle rides, things that are green (particularly that radioactive shade of neon green), squid, cephalopods in general, Tank Girl, writing, small chickens, acrylic paint, spray paint, paint pens, graffiti, making stencils, lovely and outlandish eye make-up (only the brightest of colors!), Dr. Seuss, the strange and paranormal, Andy Warhol, dumpster diving, parasites, Douglas Adams, squid, zombies, John Travolta, hawking big fat loogies, gore, rodents, Bela Lugosi, ugly art, gnomes, animal print, bunnies, skulls, chewing my nails, loud obnoxious music, mermaids, Banksy, trains, sunflowers, adventures, crows, and last but not least, making ridiculously awesome finds on e-bay. Oh, and did I mention squid?
I don't dig monkeys, cleaning, clowns, pale/pastel colors, dogs, landscape paintings, driving, angels/cupids, large groups of people (unless of course I'm at a show), eggplants (an adorable vegetable with an appalling taste), clothesline art, and that "I forgot to do something important, but I'm positive I didn't have anything important to do" feeling. Oh, and I also don't dig it when people give me elaborate and outlandish excuses as to why their swap is running late. Your postman didn't die, you didn't sporadically win a three week trip to Hawaii, it didn't get lost in the mail four times, and I really don't think you've had to tend to your neighbor's cancerous cat. If you fall behind, well, it happens to the best of us. Just tell me the truth. As long as you keep in contact and actually do send it out, I won't be too irked :)
Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, Public Image Limited, UK Subs, Black Flag, Leftover Crack, Circle Jerks, Screeching Weasel, Aus Rotten, Billy Idol, Witch Hunt, Gogol Bordello, Scissor Sisters, Bratmobile, Gravy Train, Bikini Kill, Bad Acid Trip, Municipal Waste, Oingo Boingo, X, This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, Lunachicks, That 1 Guy, The Queers, New Order.
Everything by Todd Solondz (Happiness, Welcome to the Doll House, Palindromes, Storytelling), most of Wes Anderson's films, Harold and Maude, I Shot Andy Warhol, Ghost World, Party Monster, The Labyrinth, Shaun of the Dead, The Princess Bride, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I have a soft spot for campy horror films.
"When I got my first television set I stopped caring so much about personal relationships."
Guerrilla Art, Patches, Embroidering, Drawing, Sewing, Beading, Stupendous Collages.
Douglas Adams, Francesca Lia Block, Christopher Moore. I like reading Fate Magazine too...

Hi! Hmm, my boyfriend gave me that Enid doll when we we're dating. He used to have an art gallery with a small store, and had a few designer toys/comic books there. The toys came from another art gallery/store, located in Rio de Janeiro. I don
t really know if there
s another Enid doll available here in Brazil, I think it`s easier to find one there in U.S. hehe.
