About Me

Hey people. I'm really in a complicated moment. I'm not joining any new swap and I'm trying to clean my swap list. I'm moving to another city, I'm still waiting to my apartment to be sold, and to get the money to buy a new one. So I'm currently living in a hotel and my stuff is all in my moms house miles away from me. All the swaps I still need to send is Winter Zine and Indie Mixtape. I promise you guys will receive it, and I really don't mind if you want to rate with 1 until there. I'm not checking here often, since the major part of the messages are from groups, but once in a while I come here to answer. I hope you guys understand my situation, and I'm sorry! Once things get set, Ill be a good swapper again!

I'm only joining small swaps now, because our brazilian money is worthing half of it used to worth. And international mail services and imported stuff got up, too. The good thing is that I'm joining more handmade swaps, making more crafts, making zines again. All made with care and love. :)

I'm Ana, I'm 24. I live in Porto Alegre, Brazil. I work with art (not really doing it, but managing, creating projects, writing about). So, I'd love to receive any art related stuff, like exhibitions folders, exhibition postcards, magazines, etc. Better if it's related to urban and comics art and artists. I'm also really into D.I.Y. stuff, specially zines. My favorite ones are with drawings or comics.

We don't have japanese stores here at my city :( So if you have any nice store bought kawaii stuff, feel free to send me. I'm not picky and probably will get no doubled stuff.

Favorite Music

I like many things, but my all time favorite bands are Sonic Youth, Wilco, Teenage Fanclub, Flaming Lips and Yo La Tengo.

Favorite Books

Any art/design/illustration/comics/silkscreen related.

Favorite Crafts

I like: * zines (comics, music) * japanese stationery * artists posters and street posters * stickers (japanese, artists, handmande, etc) * animal crossing (ANYTHING!) * tamagotchi (ANYTHING!) * Lion King (I'm obsessed with it since I was 10, i just can't stop) * drawings * silkscreen prints (or even offset or digital prints) * kawaii stuff * posca pens * nintendo stuff * exhibition folders and postcards

I LOVE Charlie Brown, from Peanuts, Powerpuff girls, tamagotchi, rabbits

Comment: Ana! My package made it and it was WONDERFUL. I absolutely loved it. Totally cool exhibition brochures, and the hand-drawn zine was awesome. Plus of course all the glamour of everything being in Portugese was just too much for color TV! Thank you!

Comment: Wow, I mean just - wow. Although a couple of months late, this is just such a totally awesome package that I cannot possibly rate any lower than 5 + heart. Even my husband liked it & he *never* enjoys my swaps! You went completely above & beyond the requirements of this swap & the postage alone must have cost you a fortune. Did you paint them yourself? Is it against the spirit of this swap to frame one of these guerilla artworks in my living room? I'm so impressed, and very happy with this swap package. Response: It`s so good to hear it arrived safely! I`m glad you liked. Sorry again for posting late, I`m a very messed person! But I always try to compensate it on the packages. You should totally frame some posters! And send me a photo of it. I didn`t paint any of the posters, only some stickers. It`s all from artists friends. Comment: This stuff was so cute right down the the envie you sent it in. The handmade stickers and magnets are really adorable and I do like South Park so I loved the memos. Also the postcards you sent added to my wacky artistic collection that Ive grown to adore. I think my fav is the grafitti girl blowing bubbles but they are all really neat. You rock!
