Mom of 3 daughters ages 29, 21, and 5. married almost 22 years Stay at home mom. Home schooling our 5 yr old.
I love anything that can be used for crafting with my little one. I have a lot of stuff and would love to swap out some for other interesting items.
We like sewing, crafts, gardening, cooking, baking, canning! We like coupons!
I sew and have made my share of clothing and costumes over the years (still love though) I can take almost any Anime picture at this point and recreate a costume thanks to my 2 older daughters and their crazy requests at Halloween, (Can you say a complete Sailor moon Birthday party in the 90's where I made 8 costumes including Queen Beryl BTW the cake was awesome from that party (thanks to my hubby the pastry guy)! Now I do a lot of the Disney princesses (no patterns just copy the picture I am presented with!)
My Fav movies are: Camelot the musical, Cinderella (with Leslie Ann Warren), Fiddler of the Roof, Benny and Joon, Defending your Life, My Fav TV: History Channel (American Pickers and Pawn Stars) Other channels (NCIS, Criminal Minds, CSI Miami) I will once in a while watch Lifetime (hubby calls it WIFETIME). With a 5 year old I get my share of Disney and Nick Jr.
My Likes: Older Cookbooks (Polish, Hungarian, Slovak, canning, gardening, and those great ones from schools and churches that everyone got together and submitted recipes for.) Love old History books, historical biographies and Autobiographies, vintage childrens books and school books pre-1975. Bicentennial stuff (my Mom was into that stuff and on our Towns celebration committee back in the day)
We like Hello Kitty and Disney and older cartoons like the Jetsons and the ones you see on Boomerang.
I collect New York World’s fair 1964-1965 and Expo 67 Montreal (was able to go to both as a child)., Old games from my childhood (I grew up in the 60’s and love playing these with my 5 year old one of her favorites is the “Snoopy and the Red Baron game”). Vintage wrapping paper, gift tags, cards, ribbons. Old Kitchen gadgets (the ones that no one knows what it used for but looks cool)
COUPONS: It is easier just to list what I do not need. -INFANT AND BABY(I’m over that having my last one at 45, now its the older daughters turn so I can do the grandma thing someday)! Heck if they wait long enough their little sister will be a great babysitter! NO HAIR COLOR, GERIATRIC, ORGANIC, VITAMINS, MAKE-UP, DRY DOG FOOD (he won't eat it the spoiled brat but the cats will eat anything)
I can always use (wish list)
Any canning supplies Collector Card Holders, Photo refill sleeves any 3 ring binder type (never have enough of those) New or used it does not matter. Most of my crafting is more on the lines of Kindergarten and 1st grade these days! ANY of the things listed above (I am not picky)
MY STASH: Vintage sewing patterns, 70’s craft books, old wrapping paper, ribbons, vintage fabrics, notions, and linens (doilies, sheets, pillowcases, etc..). Old buttons. beads. Lot of paper stuff! clippings from old books (including childrens books) newspapers.
Soon some yummy things from the garden when we start canning and dehydrating!!!
My daughter is Elyzabeth and she is 5 years old! She loves stickers, Disney stuff all the crafty things listed above!
