About Me

retired FCS (home ec) teacher Live in small rural community where I grew up. Married 34 yrs. Have two adult children both living here in town. Three yr. old grandson and granddaughters born Mar. 1 and July 6 of 2011. Enjoy flower gardening, golf, reading, cooking and baking, crafts of all kinds, sewings, wine tasting, home decor, traveling, and spending time with family. I am very active in our local VFW and support our military and veterans whole heartedly. Belong to the Methodist Church where I am active in the ladies group and sing in the choir. Enjoy playing cards and spending time with friends just hanging out. I do several Craft Fairs each year selling a variety of crafts, but mainly do woven ribbon headbands, crocheted necklaces out of the ladder trellis yarn, and baby headbands with bows/flowers.

Comment: Thank you for the cute necklaces - terrific colors! And the bag (again - great color!) is just the perfect size to carry my wallet, keys, & Kindle! You sound like you've been very busy the past months. I know what you mean about the "burning out;" I love all the crafts/ sewing/ cake decorating that I do, but when it starts to feel like work, it becomes less about relaxing & more like a job. Not nearly as much fun. Congrats on all the recent new babies! And again - thank you for my gifts! I love them! :)

Response: This is defiintely one of my favorite soups. I just took it to a family get-together and everyone loved it. Except for those who don't like stuffed peppers. I found Ilike to use the petite diced tomatoes which are much smaller. I just like the consistency a little better. Using regular diced tomatoes doesn't affect the flavor at all, I just like the smaller ones better. Hope you enjoy this!
