I am a soon-to-be college student and a artist that takes on a whole variety of different mediums. I love photography and drawing, but I also dabble in other little arts and crafts here and there. My ferret's name is Honey. I am new to both Swap-bot.com and ATC's. I have made a few on my own, just cute little pictures drawn on some cards, nothing fancy. But I hope to be able to become more creative with ATC's as I get more experienced.
I listen to a lot of punk, rock, and alternative, The Dresden Dolls being one of my favorite bands. (Flogging Molly following closely behind.) Although I can't play any instrument (I've tried quite a few) And my singing voice breaks peoples ears.
I love reading, most especially horror and mystery novels. Clive Barker is my favorite author, as well as Agatha Christie. I also adore comics - graphic novels and manga alike. I am currently working my way through the Hellboy series.
V for Vendetta is most definitely my favorite movie, but The Mirror Mask and Pans Labrynth also have a special place in my heart.
I really enjoy watching specials on the science channel, and on the discovery and history channels. I like informative things that are interesting and thought-provoking. Mythbusters is always a favorite. The only series that I really follow is My Own Worst Enemy. But I watch shows like House and Bones when I catch them.
I absolutely adore steampunk. Gears and sprockets and little victorian-era gadgets are awesome. I also love the victorian-era fashion, as well as lolita, and merging the two is oh so much fun. I also like stripes, of any kind. Colorfull things are great, but I also like black and white stripied things. Patterns like polka dots and stars are neat too! Anything retro or colorfull really catches my eye. Some people say they should have been born in a different era - but I like the one I am in because I can experience them all as much as I please! I can be totally 70's colorful one day, and 50's flapper the next.
