I love getting things in the mail, always have. I just started sending my friends who live in town mail because it's the best! So you can imagine how excited I was to find this site! Can't wait to swap! I am an art teacher and have the best job on the planet! I get to be around kids and art all day.
I'm so excited to connect with people from all over the world, I am the kind of person who craves human connection, (its the Taurus in me) and I'm so excited to be a part of this community.
I love it all! I'm really interested in fiber crafts including sewing, felting, weaving, etc. I studied photography, printmaking, and ceramics. I have probably spent most of my time lately working on altered books and ATCs because the time commitment is short.
I love stuff! Quirky or humorous things. I am the kind of person that can spend hours in a thrift store and find lots of treasures. I like old things and new things. I love the mountains and anything that comes from the earth.
I love old papers, BW photographs, ribbons, tiny things, beads, weird or unusual things. I have a new love for gel pens and brightly colored markers. I am an art teacher so I have access to common supplies and love to find quirky new things.

okay - it is Weekly Postcard Swappers (USA) but you need 50 swaps under your belt to join the group. I think I have seen puplic swaps for vintage - I guess just search for them at this time. I actually don't join a lot of vintage ones because the few I have I almost can't bear to part with! So I have on my profile that I like them and sometimes people send them to me in either naked PC swaps or even blank ones in PC scavenger hunts. Then I've re-traded a few...but keep most because I love them. Welcome to swap bot!
Shaye, welcome to Swap-bot! :) I think you will enjoy it here.
