My favourite movies are Steel Magnolias, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Good Morning Vietnam, Grey Friars Bobby.

I like most music, especially country and Christmas.

My favourite colours are any blue, cream, white, red combinations and I am not so fussed on orange and purples.

I am allergic to peanuts & watermelon - weird combination I know.

I live in Queensland and our temperature ranges from comfortable, through to warm, warmer, hot, way too hot, and absolutely melting.

I am enjoying the Farmers Wife QAL because working on smaller blocks is easier when it is so hot. I like English Paper Piecing and am making two quilts for this QAL. One is using Tilda fabrics and machine piecing as much as possible. The other one is being done in blues/creams/whites/grays done by EPP. I try to do all the hand finishing of bindings etc on big quilt projects when it is cooler.

I have two dogs, who are my best friends. One is a 12 year old Bichon/Maltese named Jassie, and the other one is a 6 year old Westie named Rosie. Rosie likes watching tv and supervises all my sewing projects.
