Frequently resurrected crafter. I go into my ruts when I don't do much crafting, but then I'll get into specific crafts; necklaces (that I never wear), wings for costumes (bat, fairy), sewing (the occasional purse).
Right now I'm really into sewing. I want (want is the key word) to try and sew what ever. I'm currently obsessing over fabric remnants, and bee line to the remnant bin whenever I go to a fabric store. You never know what project will pop into your head so you need to be prepared... so hoard.
My New Year's attempt is a craft a week, and to blog about it. I'm quiet, and I'm so not the talker, but reading other blogs and seeing other's creations has been so inspirational, and maybe if I can share my small accomplishments they will also inspire others to do what they love and enjoy as well.
I'm slowly working on my first quilt, since I won 88 I-spy squares. Seriously, if you would of asked me last year if I would ever make a quilt I probably would have said no, but now after reading so many blogs and seen so many great quilts I just had to give it a try, and the free I-spy squares gave me a little push.
I'm NOT a big fan of country patterns/items or pastel colors. (Oh I am currently into vintage sheets and most of what I've seen are pastel. So pastel is o.k. if you don't mind to part with vintage sheet fat quarters or eighths.)
Please no religious items.
I want to create a stash of buttons. I like the ones that have the little peg thingy in the back, but 2 or 4 holed are good too.
Colors I like are deep reds, off white, black and grays.
***Fat quarters and fat eighths will be much loved. ***
Fabric remnants are always good to have on hand. I would like to acquire a vintage/retro stash. Also a stash of wool felt remnants/scraps.
For envie swaps please no edible items, reward stickers, or make-up.
Handmade items would be great, like coin purses or pin cushions. Open to other handmade items.

Thanks for the FQ for the WTA in Sew Random! I guess we both have an interest in vintage/retro fabrics :)
