Update 9/19: Life takes an interesting turn. More info at my blog: http://frostblossoms.blogspot.com.
10/7: Surgery went fine. I'm recovering. I'm sorry I haven't been functioning at my best, so if I owe you something and you haven't heard from me, please get in touch. And please rate fairly: If you haven't received, I deserve a 1. If I'm terribly late, I deserve a 3. It's what I would expect and what is fair to other users.
I'm a Georgia girl living in Alaska since 1994. I have quite a menagerie... chickens, pheasants, geese, guinea fowl, cockatiels, finches, a husky and a cat. I used to be a writer; now I make silver and copper jewelry for a living. Lately, all I want to do is knit.
I love birds (well, that's obvious), leaves, silence, Zuni fetishes, low bush cranberries, sea kayaking (tho not in years), little rocks, odds and ends.
I usually say teal and purple are my favorite colors, but my REAL favorite is the combination of sky blue and sunny yellow. I've surrounded myself with celadon green walls, and I'm suddenly attracted by splashes of orange. What color isn't gorgeous in the right place?

Hope you are fit and well again.
When I did my degree, I took geography as my second subject which included Alaska. From that, I always had a desire to see Alaska as it seemed to me to be an incredible place. Thank you for the lovely postcard. You live in a wonderful place.
It's true! When I was a child, I lived near a volcano --- the one you saw in the postcard. 'Care to guess again? :)
Correct! We did not elope nor did we tell people we went to a baseball game. We actually went to a baseball game instead.
Kristin thank you for the extra nice comments. It is so nice to swap with someone as gracious and appreciative as yourself. FYI I have had those days too and it always amazes me what ends up turning those days around. I really hope to trade with you again sometime. Thanks again for your generous comments and extra heart! High Fives and lots of smiles! Lola
I'm so glad you liked the Hotel Goodies. I just got back from New York where I got some other really nice ones. I may just do one of these swaps...so stay tuned!! Thank you so much for the 5 and the heart!!

I'm good... just working a lot. I'm so worn out! :(
She's a very talented silversmith and a very generous person. Swapping with Summerlion has been a great experience and I consider myself lucky to have met her.
