Hello, Thank you for visiting my profile page. I"ve been away from SB for a number of years and am starting completely over with my profile so it may look a little sparse for a while. We recently moved back home to Springfield, Mo from a five year work related move to North Carolina. All of our grown kids live here and while we were away, our two grandchildren were born. I am thoroughly loving being back close to family and getting settled into a new church as well. Life is much busier now in happy ways and we are still getting fully settled in. Looking forward to getting back to swapping soon!
My favorite crafts mostly involve paper: card making, making paper flowers to use as embellishments. I love everything floral. I enjoy using coffee filters in making flowers either as bouquets or string lights. Now that I have a grandson and a granddaughter on the way: I want to learn to knit and crochet and also begin scrapbooking. Recently I have really been enjoying watching videos by watercolor masters; especially Herman Pekel. I am not even a beginner painter, yet! Just a watcher for now. I haven't looked to see if there are any swaps that would go with watercolor "maybe atc cards". That way I could make little tiny mistakes! :D
Not a big TV watcher. Occasionally like to watch cooking show, documentaries, Fox News and old movies. My television is youtube and I mostly watch how to videos by other ebay resellers and craft videos (Really like Lindsey The Frugal Crafter) and Cheap Crafty Girl (Dollar Tree Hauls), Herman Pekel watercolor painting videos.
Vintage Ephemera of all kinds (except creepy or spooky)- greeting and post cards, bits from vintage magazines and newspapers, anything with handwriting (the older the better)

Hey there! It looks like I have you as a partner for more than just one swap; I actually just sent out a St. Patty's card to you for the St. Patty's Day card swap and now I'm leaving you a comment for the Easy Profile Comment Swap #2! :o) Since this is at least my second time going over my profile, I have to ask - did you keep ANY part of Col. Mustard or Miss Peacock? I did kind of lol when I read that part, I'm sorry! I think it's because I had this mental image in my head of how you'd sound when you said it, and that's what made it funny. Just for that, I wish I had another Col. Mustard or whoever else to send to you to replace what you lost to Ranger Danger but unfortunately that is not one of the things I collect. :o( I do hope you find your appropriate replacements, and welcome to Swap-Bot fellow new person! :o)
If you ever want to do a private swap to get some more ratings, just send me a message :-)
Hello Shannon! Your lovely comment is the first thing I have received on SB. What a nice way to start! You sound like a very caring person, from your work in hospice and child protection. Both my Mom & brother spent their last moments in hospice, so I know the importance of having caring people around your loved ones at that precious time. I checked out your website and followed your fb page. Love you charms! I have a tiny, awful little Etsy "store" called PaperSet. My youngest daughter Marissa (age 14) helps me with it when she is in the mood to do so. My oldest daughter, Esther (23) is a photographer @ wearethezieglers.com, so maybe when we get back to MO my Etsy photos will improve by leaps and bounds! Thank you again for your nice comments, hope we get to swap sometime. Have a blessed day! Susan Johnson :)
Hi Susan! I'm your swap partner for Nice Profile Comment. I have to say, you have a wonderful profile, it is filled out with great information. It's wonderful that you love the Bible and also items from your heritage. I hope you are able to get some of these swaps for your collection. Competing an inside of a doll house sounds amazing! Doll houses are fascinating, all of the miniature items that we use in daily life. Welcome to Swap-Bot, I hope you enjoy it for many years! I've been here a year and a half and it has become one of my favorite pastimes! Blessings, Shannon (from Missouri) ;)
