Hello. I'm an artisan of some sort, adventurer, person who likes to spend time gluing pieces of paper together.
I'm currently studying for my silversmith degree. I paint some, fix things and plunder antique stores. I like good shoes and confusing mail art.
Having a fixed theme as a starting point has always helped to get my creativity flowing, so art themed swaps here are a great inspiration.
sculpture, historical gentlemen's clothing, fish and underwater life, culture history & anthropology, travelling, Scooter mod / spirit of 69, old cars and motorcycles, steam and punk both together and separately, alchemist and slightly occultist stuff, fools and jesters, history of pirates/outlaws/outsiders, shoe-making, Boardwalk Empire, the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, T. E. Lawrence, C. G. Jung, blacksmiths, gemstones, ink and dip pens, tree-houses, Boro and other japanese folk crafts, everything related to the ocean and old ships, Dave McKean, Anne Ricean vampires, (old school) tattoos, James Joyce, Robin Hobb, grass-root anarchism, creative commons / open source, growing my own food, medieval woodcut illustrations and early literature
I also love the manga series One Piece.
I'm a metalworker by trade. I make jewellery and utility items, and some things that cross the divide.
After that, I'd like to know how to make and fix every item that I need in my daily life. (Not ambitious, eh!)
Periodically I get obsessed about sewing by hand (much of it simple mending), knitting and crocheting, dyeing with natural plants and tablet weaving, leatherwork and whatever I can think of. I make stencil patches too. Japanese craft continues to inspire me.
I draw and paint, my tools of the trade are mostly bottle ink and water/acrylic colours, but I enjoy abusing pretty much all mediums.
Mail art & street art are my long-time love - decobooks, altered books & art journals, ATC's, naked mail art, random objects, found poetry.
I'm mostly here for mail art /drawing /craft swaps, and I don't really need much Stuff. My focus on swapping here is on creating things and the enjoyment I get from it. So the best thing you can send me is something you enjoyed making!
You don't need to obsessively send extras to win a heart from me, if I like the swap I heart it anyway!
But for Stuff swaps, I like useful things, art supplies and materials. Brushes, pencils, dip pen nibs, colours, paints, crayons, heavy paper, etc...
CD/casette/zine/stickers by your favourite local artist or you
Tin containers (and all candy that comes in such.) Being a jeweller, there's never too much tiny boxes to organize things in.
Feel free to send me things from your own stashes, or shop second hand! (even if the swap rules state store-bought, you can always mail handmade/second hand bought things for me.) There's really too much waste on the beautiful planet Earth without anything you could buy from the store for me... Same goes for recycled packaging material and such.
Colors: Black, gold, red, blue, indigo, all shades of grey and brown, gold, gold, can everything just be black and gold forever. I like deep dark intense colours more than bright.
I like black tea, especially unflavored and citrus/spiced teas. Self-packaged loose tea or coffee is OK. Only thing I seriously loathe is hibiscus.
Scrapbooking material that is sold in scrapbooking stores for scrapbooking (sorry - save them for somebody who appreciates that) / Useless dollar-store things, synthetic yarn.
I would very much appreciate if the mail art I receive was not entirely covered with plastic film/tape/foil. No need to stress over it though. : )
I live in Finland - sometimes mailing from here can take a while. I usually send in economy class and concentrate on putting nice things inside. But please contact me before rating if you feel that something should've arrived, I always re-send swaps if they're lost.
Feel free to re-swap things you got from me if they are not to your liking, but please be nice and don't pretend handmade things were made by you.
have pierced ears (x5 left, x1 right). Ring size is 18, but I also wear tiny rings in my little fingers (13.5). My feet are 38/39 (long but narrow), I have thin wrists (13-14cm) but big hands.
There's no need to worry whether you'll offend me with nudity/swearing etc., it's just not likely / If you're feeling bad or low and need to rant to somebody, write me a letter! / My favourite animals are whales. Whales are awesome! I also dig sheep. They're so soft and fluffy and aargh sheep! / I collect older (1996-2002) pokémon cards. : ) They make me feel all happy and nostalgic! Especially series. / My favourite stones are almandine garnets (the really deep blood red ones), dark blue shades of labradorite, and all green tourmalines.

Welcome to The Print Shop! Also wanted to say that your art is amazing!
Ditto to the last comment! My drawing skills aren't great but I enjoy the practice.
I love the 30 minute drawing swaps! Please don't stop hosting them! I am looking forward to the next one!
I really like the idea of the drawing swaps you are hosting! I am travelling over the next swap dates but will keep an eye out for more of yours!
Welcomed to Artistically inclined group. I put up both international and USA swaps for everyone.
You mentioned Gogol Bordello in your profile. We listened to them all afternoon yesterday as we grilled pizza in the rain and drank cheap Mexican beer with lots of limes. Good times!
