i like chocolate (not white), fruit, chocolate + fruit, caramel, I like most candy but am not crazy about hard candy. I don't like spice drops or brittle. I HATE marzipan. that's pretty much the only candy I hate.

The authors I am currently reading or love include: John Cheever, Lawrence Durrell, Maggie Nelson, Dashiell Hammett, F. Scott Fitzgerald, T.S. Eliot, and still chipping away at Proust every now and again. I love classic American novelists and poets but also I love cookbooks and my favorite right now is A Twist of the Wrist by my hero Nancy Silverton

I am a filmmaker and work a crappy tech job. I like cooking and baking, the farmer's market, and ice cream. I am trying to teach myself to sew, and am documenting the minutiae of my life on flickr.
