Hello. I am the single mother of one 9 year old boy. He is the sweetest kid that I know which can be a good and a bad thing. I was born in raised in North Carolina. I've had a very southern and Christian upbringing. Yes we love our sweet tea and bbq. Lol. I am a graduate of North Carolina state University (Go Wolfpack) with a degree in Social Work that I am currently not using at all (if anyone wants to borrow it for a while. Fortunately I will return to school this fall 2013 to obtain my Masters degree in elementary education. I've always wanted to be a teacher. I love kids, I love life, and I love being frugal.
I like all type of music. I mostly like lyrics more than the sound. I love Rhianna, Beyonce, Evanenscence, Taylor Swift, just about anyone who has anything to say really. I'm not picky at all.
I'm still into the teeny bopper books. Loved Twilight and Hunger Games (can't wait to see the movies) Just like music I love all books. Keep my kindle open on my android phone all the time. I like vampire series books and Amish books. I like to read about things that are different from my own culture really even if its fantasy. I want to read the girl with the dragon tatoo series next. I have to read the books before I see the movies.
I love the 8pm line up. Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth, Lying Game, Modern Family, Suburgatory, The middle, Grey's Anatomy, Vampire Diaries, Dance Mom's The Game, Can't wait for Secret Life and Make it or Break it to come back. Also Walking Dead
I don't know if you would call couponing a craft but that is how this all got started. I became an extreme couponer when money was tight but after I got a stockpile of items ( including 50 bottle of bodywash for free), I needed something else to do.
I started crocheting and got kind of lazy with it. I then just went to knitting and still was incredibly bored. I've always known about scrapbooking but thought it was just something for little old ladies who stay at home all the time. Sorry :(. With everything else that I learned how to do, I turned to youtube and watched videos and soon I was a scrapbooker. Don't know if I can call myself that as I only started in 2012, so i'm still a newbie. Right now my main focus is learning and really collecting as much in the way of supplies and tools as I can.
I've also gotten into polymer clay, paracrod jewelry and i want to start project life too. I think swapping is a good way to get some interesting and creating items.
