.....I took a little INTERNET hiatus and am back to a little swapping, because I love it so!!.....

I'm a retail manager that commutes into the city...and back to the country at night! I'm an avid crafter and haven't met one I don't like. In my free time I garden, cook and craft...read and listen to music.

I'm married to a newpaper'man'...and have a very persnickity cat, Sarah. We live in a 100 year-old house that, when we closed in it (years ago) we asked the owners if it might be haunted...how awesome would that have been to have some cool history? No..it's not :) We do have a great series of raised bed gardens...and that's my summertime passion.

In the winter, I'm a skiier! I also LOVE to make snowmen and play in the snow :) I'm a big kid and I'm ok with that!

{PLEASE NOTE!! I'm new...and so very excited to be swapping...and would HATE to think that someone didn't get a package that I created for them. SO...PLEASE (please please please) let me know if you didn't get my package. A package from me is always filled with little bits of who I am...and I would be ever so sad if it got lost in the mail.}

I LOVE to listen to music...and Pandora is always on when I'm in my craft room! Mix it up from classical to blues - jazz to 80s pop...I love it all. Right now I'm listening to a mix of pretty mellow female singer/songwritters.

I can apreciate the following as art...but they aren't staples in my playlist.

You name it...I'm game! I've been playing around with soul collaging after I attended Brave Girls Camp...artwork that comes from the heart is a pretty precious thing.

I've recently taken (back) up doodling - something I haven't done in a while...a pre-zentangle type of thing (maybe I'll explore zentangle soon, too)!

I'm an avid canner, too...and that's a craft of sorts, right? I LOVE to make jams, jellies and pickles...relishes...anything using things from my garden or local farmer's market. But, I think that I might be a little leary about swapping canning just because I know canning is a pretty precise things...and all that jazz.

I'm a 'salty' kind of girl :) I'd rather munch on a plate of nachos than a piece of cake...so when it comes to candy, I'm a snob (eeep) - I'd rather have ONE really great truffle a month than a candy bar a day...but my downfall is gummies (but I don't eat them but every once-in-a-while)! I'm trying very HARD to eat much better...more fresh, local foods!
