Mixed media art is my favorite craft. I create my own "greeting" type cards, scrapbook a little, but my real love is creating ATC's. I'm the only one that can sign up for scrap mania at my local Archiver's and spend the night doing ATC's. Most scrap-booker's think ATC's are strange art but they are curious souls.
Photography, technology, vintage fountain pens. My favorite photographic subjects are scenic and architectural.
I'm in my late 40's, unmarried, and employed as an automotive engineer. I have no children and I use art and photography to fill in some of my free time.
My favorite author is William Gibson. He's written several books but my favorite was Virtual Light. I have a kindle and love it!
Some of my favorite teas are Hot Cinn. Spice, Chai (no milk), Earl Grey, Green Tea, and Mint. The past 6 months I've been experimenting in all sorts of loose and bagged teas. I prefer loose or the type of tea bags that look like fine mesh netting, rather than paper. I don't care for fruit teas or vanilla tea. Most of the teas I like are herbal or spicy but I'm open to try things. Your tea does not need to be wrapped, but please put it in a baggie to keep it fresh during the trip. I will take loose or bagged, just be sure it's protected inside a baggie and tell me the recommended amount, steep time for each tea, name of the tea, and the brand/company that makes it. Usually this will be on the box/bag it came in, and not all brews are the same.
I have a dog and 2 cats. All 3 are shelter/rescue pets. Please consider a shelter/rescue animal for your next pet.
Earthy, rustic, leather, glass slides/memory glass, vintage glass, brass/copper/silver metal sheet or foils, art deco and vintage items/themes and textures (vintage as in circa late 1800's, 1900/1910/1920 not 1970/1980/1990). Old looking lace. Colored Buttons that are 1" or less. Vintage photos of people or good quality print outs of vintage photos small enough to use on a 3.5"x2.5" card. Goth, skulls, and steampunk is ok too (but not cutesy/Kawaii versions) . Paper craft flowers, brads, wire, metal mesh, small sticky crystals, interesting patterned/textured craft/heavy paper, german scrap. I like swirled patterns on papers and textiles. Fleur-De-Lis shapes/patterns/items. Colors: I prefer earth tones. Browns, greens, deep blood reds....My favorite color is vert green (like a bright olive green with a hint more yellow). Teas: I like mint teas the best but I also like chai and white teas. Coffee: Strong and often :-) Chocolate: Dark 70% cocoa and up. Junk Food: Chewy Spree and Dentine Ice gum
Please no stickers, no craft foam sheeting shapes, no neon anything, no plastic beads/string/cord etc, no cut ups from magazines, no snips and bits of product packaging/boxes, junk mail, or other parts from your weekly recycle bin you'd normally put out to the curb. No holiday ribbons or papers. No religious or other organizational messages or ads. No Hello Kitty or other Japanese Kawaii type items. Nothing for children or items that would be interesting to a 4 year old. I'm not into cute or children at all, even a little bit.
If I mark my art/swap as sent, it really was, and on that very day. If you don't receive it in a reasonable amount of time, please email me and I will be happy to make you another! If my partner is overseas, I'll email you when I send it, so you will know it may take a little longer to arrive.
