Hello! I'm not new to swaps. but I'm new to swap-bot!
I'm an anthropology and linguistics student. I love learning about new places and people. It comes naturally as I have a multicultural, multiracial family :) This year I will be going on two trips abroad for field school so hopefully this will be a way I can de-stash and use up my hoard of stationery and stickers!
I love sending snail mail. I have a chronic illness so between work and school I don't have the energy to get out much. Snail mail is a fun and cute way to connect with new people. It's so nice to get a little ray of sunshine in your mail box.
I live with my two dogs: Ernie, a 20-year-old yorkie, and Emma, a 4-year-old maltese. I tend to spend a lot of my free time reading and studying. Not only for school, I also spend time practicing different languages. When my hands don't hurt too much I like to knit or quilt. When it's warm outside and I'm feeling good, I love to take my dogs on walks. (Although they end up with me doing all the walking and my puppies whining until they're held.)
Please message me if you don't get anything from me. I like mail too much to screw up the chances of swapping!
My favorite books of all time are "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass."
I also love the works of Sherman Alexie.
I love neo gothic literature and magical realism.
Currently I mostly read nonfiction.
I love knitting and sewing! I am slowly but surely revamping my wardrobe to be mostly second hand and upcycled. I especially have fun with my broken jewelry.
Currently my two big projects are Ohio State quilts for my friends who are graduating from there.
