I collect buttons.
I collect postcards.
My house collects dust.
I like all kinds of ephemera, pretty and/or unusual paper, deco fabric and packing tape, stuff from Paperchase.co.uk, notebooks, journals, stickers and cool rub-ons. I like quality gel pens and colorful sharpies. I LOVE tiny mother of pearl charms and beads shaped like animals, sea creatures, stars, moons, etc. I also love "regular" charms for jewelry or embellishments. Doo-dads are cool. I like costume jewelry that I can take apart to make other things with or use to embellish stuff. My favorite kind of buttons are etched or shaped MOP and fancy glass. I like SS earrings. I've recently started carving lino blocks so any supplies for the making or printing of linos and hand-made rubber stamps would be appreciated and the extra effort is definitely worth a ♥ to me! (Though, truth be told, a lot of things are worth a ♥ to me :) )
My favorite color is purple in all shades, and even though I am starting to choose other colors, I just can't seem to get into the colors orange or lime green. Having said that, I do love the smell of oranges and tangerines but not if it's really cloying or fake smelling. Soaps scented with orange essential oils are lovely.
I like butter rum lifesavers and can't seem to find them anymore! I prefer chewies (bit o'honey, walnettos and similar) and sour candies (sweetarts, smarties and the like) over chocolate.
I like a lot of Japanese things but I'm not too into the cutsie/kawaii stuff.
I've recently signed on with mycokerewards.com so if you have any extra codes you won't be using, I'd love to have them. ;)
Things I don't really like: fruit flavored teas, rose scent and peach flavor. I don't care for wintergreen flavor. I don't chew gum. In general, I'm not big on lotions and creams. Oh, and I don't care for most dust-collectors. I already have enough dust, thank you. :)
Jewelry-making of all kinds, including metal work and beadwork. machine sewing, lino prints, hand-made rubber stamps and ATCs
I like a lot of other crafts on a one-off basis but never cross-stitch, plastic canvas, pom-pom, pipe-cleaner, foam or other bazaar-type crafts.
I live in Colorado which is just West of center in the USA so please keep that in mind when waiting for a swap. It seems like packages to the far coasts are a lot quicker than neighboring states - go figure. First Class International Post to Canada seems to take forEVER and Europe and Australia take up to two weeks, at least.
If I'm participating in a US Swap, I will spend the extra $ on a delivery confirmation, whenever possible. Please don't take it personally. I sell a lot of books on Amazon and keeping track of packages is something I've gotten into the habit of doing on a regular basis anyway.
Having said that, be assured that if I sign up for a swap, I will always follow through. And I really hope that anyone who gets my name will do the same. It's the right thing to do.
I realize things happen in life so if you think you'll be late, let me know. As long as you DO follow through, I won't rate it against you if you maintain good communication with me.
If you're ever expecting something from me but haven't received it, please message me before rating.
