I am from Louisiana about 20 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Yes we get the hurricanes. I am married to a wonderful and caring man who is also my friend. I have three children and three step-children. I have 9 grandchildren and two more on the way. My youngest son's baby was 2 months early,he weighed 2lbs1oz.. We hope he will be home for Christmas. The doctor said he is a perfect baby in a small package.

I am addicted to SEWING and anything to do with sewing. I love to sew quilts, dolls, clothes for my granddaughters. I love FABRIC of all types, color, texture. I could sit and sew 24/7 if it were possible but my husband does like to eat and have clean clothes. I teach children to sew in the summer and on their school breaks. I love to see the gleam in their eyes when they finish a project. I teach both girls and boys. The boys sometimes learn fasted then the girls.

The only books you will find me reading are craft, quilting, doll, and pattern books. I do like to read mystery books but they take away from my sewing so I don't read them often.

I like to watch black and white movies when I am sewing. I love all the old movies they are very relaxing. Also I will somtimes watch HGTV craft shows.

I would like to receive anything from my partners place of residence. I would like to know where they live and what type of things they have there. They could also send anything to do with children so I could share them with my grandkids. I have five granddaughters(13,9,6,4,2) and four grandsons (10,7,3weeks,1week).
