Favorite Crafts

I like painting, drawing, which is for me a medium of expressing my feelings and somehow the way to relax. I love scrapbooking but I am not really a scrapper. I just use some technics in letters and notebooks.

About Me

my name is Anna, I am 33 years old, live in the North of Russia, yeeep, it is right cold in this part of the world, but no bears in the streets though.

I joined swap-bot because I love postcards and letters from all over the world. I am a postcrosser, too (my profile https://www.postcrossing.com/user/Anna ) . I want something more than postcards, that what I said once to another postcrosser, and she adviced me to visit the swap-bot site. I am curious and interested in getting to know about other cultures and places, I would like to travel around the world.

I really enjoyed getting to know you through the letter, hearing about your hopes and dreams and places in Russia I may love to visit...I am sure I would love it in Kargopol since I love towns rich with history like that. First of all, the envelope itself is so beautiful and the same beauty continues inside on the notecard with the lovely quote from Alice. I´m going to incorporate your card into my quotes-journal for sure. And I love the Beatrix Potter-postcard. But the icing on the cake is the beautiful recipe. I´m definitely going to try that recipe itself, but the way you´ve written it is just something beyond words; the vintage looking paper, the beautiful font and the stitching on top of the pages. WOW! I´d give you tens of hearts for all the thought and effort you´ve put into all this, but all I can say is BIG THANKS and all the best for you :)!

German and Russian are two of my favorite languages so it is cool you speak both of them - and English as well! I also love the Russian ephemera, I think this will start my new collection on this gorgeous language. I have 4 really close friends in my town that have lived in Russia for many years before they came here (they are Pontic Greek, you see). They tend to feel more Russian than Greek, though, as they weren't really welcomed here from Greek people back then.. :/ I also really love reading Russian literature (as you might have figured out from my profile already..haha) <3 I really wished I could read it in the original language...
