Update to my profile 9/2023. I have branched out and have been learning all kinds of new forms of crafting and have even been doing some craft shows and selling some. I have been fine tuning my handmade magic wands and also my bookart. I recently won a blue ribbon in our local craft event for a beautiful flower vase bookart. First time I have ever entered anything like that so it was really fun. Last weekend I joined a Tarlatan mask making class and wow, I already find myself diving headfirst into learning this. Of course if I keep learning new things and buying new supplies I will have to start hanging things from the ceiling in my craft room because it is bursting from the seams already! Happy Crafting guys! I started out scrapbooking in my early 20's then moved to cardmaking since it required way less organization of my many boxes of photos.. LOL. I fell in love with the cardmaking, envelope making & other paper crafts and am amazed at all of the different tools, dies, stamps and machines that are available. I have a Gemini, Cricut, lots of stickers, fair amt of dies & small amt of stamps...it seems like forever to get a good stock built up. I teach a monthly craft class with a good friend of mine at our local library and love passing on our love of crafts to everyone and anyone who wants to join us. I recently have traded cardmaking for paint pouring and alcohol inks. I am new to both but am in love with them already.
Since I was a sickly kid, I fell in love with TV at a young age and still love it and use it as a tool to relax while crafting. I love true crime shows, thrillers, fantasy shows like Game Of Thrones and Vampire Diaries, Hilarious shows like Friends and Carol Burnette and some of popular network programing like Dancing with the Stars. My newest loves are Outlander and Yellowstone
I am a mother of 1 adult son and 1 beautiful 12yr old granddaughter who is my favorite craft buddy. We live in the country, in WV, and have horses, dogs and cats. As far as favorites go I would say favorite color is most all shades of blue, especially deep ocean blue and teals. I love all animals but would have to say my favorite animal would be horses or dogs. I love to watch tv, read and especially craft. Since joining swapbot I am now addicted to all kinds of papercrafting, making ATC's, little albums, cardstock purses, small 3 x5 cards...anything you can make with cardstock is fun for me. I LOVE using die cuts and stickers & all embellishments that I can get my hands on. I don't sticker slap, I do painting, inking...or some other technique then use some stickers or die cuts to put finishing touches on. I love anything historical, especially ancient Egypt or Rome. I am fascinated by the paranormal and enjoy all the ghost hunting or haunting shows on TV, my husband teases me about it since he is a non believer. LOL.
I would say my FAVORITE craft item to use is double sided paper, handmade envies, paint pouring skins, alcohol inks and cardstock!!, die cuts, nice stickers, metal embellishments, handmade embelllishments and any adorable embellishment that can be added to my paper crafts. As far as my favorite things to receive in a swap I would have to say is double sided paper, paint pouring skins, handmade envies, cardstock, metal embellishmenst, handmade embellishmensts, die cuts, pieces of neat card stock to use in layering, nice stickers (especially puffy or 3D type stickers), animal stickers, and other small embellishments...anything I can use in cardmaking, paper crafts & decorating envelopes for my swaps. I am restarting my foreign banknote & coin collection so if you are international and interested in a swap like that let me know. I am not picky. If we are swapping please please please label the foreign banknotes & coins since I do not have a book or reference to figure it out...pretty new to collecting them. I am so enjoying this swap bot experience and getting to meet other people that love their crafting as much as I do.
Something I want you to know is that I send out my swaps as soon as I get my swap partners so if you do not receive a swap from me it has to be a boo-boo during the postal experience because I would not flake on you. I live in a small town with a very small-town post office that closes at noon so sometimes things are post stamped a couple days after I put them out, I am sorry but there is no way I can fix that. When I put my trade in the mailbox, I mark it as sent so please be understanding if you are one that looks at postal stamps. If you do not receive something by close to end of the swap date (unless you are overseas bc that would require extra time) please contact me so I can get you a replacement in the mail asap. Thanks a bunch because I want to make sure you get your swap plus it is important to me to maintain a good rating. Happy Swapping!
I recently have been starting to do some craft fairs, there are only a couple in my small town a year but have been working hard to get some good crafts done to sell in it. During this process I am realizing that I am in need of some really cute embellishments that I put on my paper crafts, metal ones, wood ones, tassles, unusually buttons....so if you are one of my swap partners and are looking for something that I may like please consider any of these items, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your artwork and sending home my Art Collab PC! Love the purple flower. 💜
Here is a picture of some of our elephant ears with my Mom. Because of our climate, we don't have to winter them.
