A= Alt Country (think Jenny Lewis and Whiskeytown) & Aussie songwriters (Paul Kelly/Nick Cave) B = Brit-pop (like Belle & Sebastian) C= College Rock, esp 80-90's & Cow Punk D= Dance/a-go-go (60's type dance party music) E = Everything, as in a little of everything F= French cafe music (ooo la la) G= Garage music H= Honky-tonk & Hot Rod Music I = Indie Rock J = Jangle Pop (like early REM, Let's Active) & Juke Joint Blues K= The Kinks, not a genre but an under rated band and better than the Beatles in our house L= Lo-Fi M= Manchester sound of the 90's (Happy Mondays, Charlatans) N=New Wave - I'm the queen of the 80's new wave music! O= Open/Old school - open to new things but love my old school P= Punk - classic not these Blink-type. Q= Quadrophenia/Mod - give me the Jam and bands of that ilk! R= Rockabilly S = Scottish fuzzy guitar pop like Teenage Fanclub & Jesus & Mary Chain - and Surf Rock T= Two Tone Ska and Tin Pan Alley - 2 very fun genres! U= Underground V= Vocal Jazz (give me Billie, Ella, Louis & Sarah!) W= Western Swing and World Beat X= hmmm - no genre with X, but X is a great band! Y= Yeah, Yeah, Yeah - any song with "yeahs", hand clapping and a fun backbeat! Z= Zydeco - must be experienced live, preferably in New Orleans!

I dabble - I sew, screen, photograph, paint. But I love to learn new things and am trying to master crocheting because I've given up on knitting. I also love to work in my urban garden and consider that a craft too.
