HELLO, MY NAME IS KIM!

I am a 25-year-old Filipino-Chinese currently located in Fukuoka, Japan. I am a full-time freelance writer and hobby artist. Books, tea and warm fuzzy socks are my daily essentials. I love sending mail and getting to know people from other countries.

HOBBIES

Reading & Writing

I write for a living and even though it drives me insane sometimes, I do love it. I’ve been writing fan fiction since I was 11 and now I write on Wattpad as a hobby. I enjoy young adult fantasy, mystery, horror and romance fiction. And I also occasionally read manga.

Scrapbooking / Journaling

I love stationery (check out my Japanese stationery Etsy shop!) and keeping a scrapbook/journal allows me to use them. I consider journaling as a way for me to preserve memories and a place where I can write down my ideas for my writing.

Photography

Taking photos for my journal has become a part of my daily life. I’m not very good at it yet but I hope to practice taking photos more so that I can send mini photo zines or albums to my pen pals.

Arts and Crafts

I love creating zines, embroidery, crochet and jewelry making – in no particular order. I would love to send my pen pals some of my works in the future.

Cooking

I live with my Japanese boyfriend and a part of my daily duties is creating bento lunch boxes. Because of that, I got to enjoy cooking even more. (But mainly because I love food)

Traveling

Aside from going to other countries whenever possible, my boyfriend and I also enjoy going on road trips, camping and fishing. We are pretty adventurous with food as well so wherever the car or train takes us, we are up for any adventure.

Tea – I like both fruity and floral tea, milk tea is great too

Hot Chocolate – for days when I need a break from tea
