Here we are in 2019. Wow. Other than TV shows watched, nothing has changed. I'm here mainly for the postcard swaps.

2018 has begun so I think it is time to update this. Not much has changed. I have so enjoyed meeting such lovely people here on Swap Bot.

I am a retired Baby Boomer. Online, I belong to Goodreads, Postcrossing a few quilting forums and lots of groups here on Swap-Bot. I grew up in the state of Maine but have lived in California most of my life. I love the winters here! My husband and I have been happily married for more than 40 years.We have two grown sons whom we see often.

We enjoy traveling whenever we can. Our house has a lot of fishy decor because my husband loves to fish for trout. We are a pet free, smoke free household. We do and have loved pets, but not these days.

Quilting is my main passion. I also love knitting. I enjoy making quilts for family and local charities.

Photography is another long time passion. I enjoy making postcards with my photos.

I also am an avid reader. Nowadays I use only my mini iPad to read books on Nook and Kindle. I know that many people prefer the paper format but I have cleared out most of my books. I am into simplifying my life.

I belong to a book group and we read general fiction.. Authors I love are Maeve Binchy, Michael Connelly, Harlan Coben. Robert Crais, Linwood Barkley, Barbara Kingsolver and Louise Penny. I belong to Goodreads online so if you also belong, please friend me there. .I have the same user name.

We are watching morning talk shows, NCIS, Scorpion, House Hunters, Jeopardy,Maine Cabin Masters and we record quilting and knitting shows for later watching. Love my DVR!

Romantic comedies are at the top of the list but I find mysteries intriguing. My all time favorite movies are 50 First Dates. When Harry Met Sally, Gravity, The Help and Hidden Figures..

I usually do postcard swaps. I love to get mail that isn't junk or bills. So if you have available the following, I would appreciate them.
