I enjoy all kinds of music. No favorite songs. My favorite song is based on the mood I am in. I enjoy listening to Keith Sweat, Boyz II Men, Garth Brooks, Monica, and anthing that came out befor 2000.
My favorite crafts are coloring, painting, scarp booking, journaling. And trying crafts that I find online. They don't always turn out but I love trying them out. I find arts and crafts relaxing.
The Bible I have to start back reading. I use to read 3 or 4 books a month, but when my father passed I lost interest in reading. That was almost 9 years ago. Anyone who reads this and have any suggestions on some good books feel free to message me with the titles.
I love to travel. Growing up my father would sale goats and pigs to have money to take us to Disney World. The places that I enjoyed the most was going to Hawaii with my Mom for 16 days. I was 16 the first time I went to Europe. I learned alot that trip because I went alone. My favorite pleases was Paris and London. I have been to almost all of the states.

Hello I'm your partner Gypsycatandcrafts for the swap called 10 Things that makes me happy.
Reading books makes me happy. I love a good book because it will capture my imagination. With books I can travel the world without ever leaving my home or bed. Discover new hobbies and recipes to experiment with. With books there are no limits to the fun adventures one can get lost in. Reading is of my favorite pass times.
Singing makes me happy. Even thou I have the voice of a toad instead of a lovely goddess. I still love to sing loud and proud. Nope I'm always in the front row singing to the mountain tops.
Crafting makes me happy. There's no feeling like when you just tackled a complicated project , and it turned out great. It boosts your self-esteem and motivate you to push harder to reach new limits of creativity. Also crafting is a great way to relieve stress and create unique gifts for your love ones. Are just that silly cat that lives next door.
Treating myself makes me happy. Treating myself to a special spa day at home is always a great start to make me happy. Add a couple of bath bombs, some bath salt and some scented candles. Plus some nice soothing music and turn on the heat to keep the room nice and warm. Also a nice moisturizing face mask and deep conditioning hair cream also keep me happy. Soaking in the tub for at least an hour or two and then when searching up my favorite snack. Then wrapping up in my blankets with my favorite book and that is how I treat myself and make myself happy.
Dutch apple pie makes me happy. It brings back memories of my father baking in the kitchen when I was a child and a picky eater.
Hunting for the perfect skein of yarn makes me happy. I love roaming through yarn shops and craft stores looking for that perfect roll of yarn. That will turn into the perfect project that will turn into the perfect gift for someone special.
Spring time makes me happy. I enjoy sitting back and looking at all the colorful wild flowers that randomly blossoms all over the city.
Toe socks make me happy. Toe socks are just comfortable and colorful to wear. Sometging I will never grew out of.
Orange Bang the drink makes me happy. I love this tasty Frosty delicious Spanish drink. I enjoyed reading it all times of day I think it's the best way to have orange juice.
Being myself makes me happy most of all. There nothing else really can compare with making me happy like being myself, and being allowed to be myself. That's what really makes me happy.
Hope you enjoyed my list of 10 things that makes me happy.
Hello Amaris, We are partners for Profile Swap: things that make you happy! I emailed this to you as a mistake (please excuse it for me being new!) I had no idea a person could leave a comment on a profile page. It all makes sense to me now! These are the 10 things that make me happy!
Babies… all babies. I just love babies. I like the way they are able to look at things for the very first time, the wonder and excitement. The smallness of their features and how much they depend on their parent. I wouldn’t have had 5 if I didn’t love them!
Glitter. Yep, I said it. Those glitter bombs people send in the mail for torture would just be a small amount of amazing for me. Almost 40 and I still like glitter.
Flowers. It sounds cliché but I love a pretty bouquet of flowers, or a handmade dandelion crown. There is something so special about flowers, I just adore them.
My moms grilled sandwiches- As long as I can remember my mom has made amazing grilled sandwiches, that have a mix of mayo, mustard and garlic salt on them, along with cheese and usually ham. She adds lettuce and tomato to them and I can’t duplicate it to save my life. I am lucky because when I visit her still she makes them for me.
Travelling or even travelling vicariously through someone- I love hearing about customs and cultures, learning new facts, hearing the sounds and song of a different country. I love smelling the smells and absorbing as much as I can.
Traditions- I try to be the kind of mom who has “traditions” because I want my kids to be able to remember the things they did as children. Traditions like sitting with santa (my oldest is 13 and still will do it… just for me) We go for drives and look at Christmas lights, we take a yearly camping trip to a crazy destination and usually it ends up in chaos. We have so many little traditions that it makes me feel whole and happy.
Old Things- things with age, and things with a story… antiques. The smell of the old wood or the feel of the metal. I just like to breathe in the depth of antiques and think about who might have owned them or what they were used for.
Cake- I can never eat cake without a smile. Who doesn’t like some form of cake? Even a muffin is a cupcake without frosting. I would eat cake everyday if I could.
Completing a project- I live in a old house and I have large plans for it. It has a ton of wallpaper which is screaming for removal. Bathrooms need remodeled, flooring, cabinets in the kitchen you name it, it could use a touch up. I love the feeling of accomplishment and a job well done. It truly makes me happy.
Coffee, a blanket, and Netflix- My husband and I don’t get a lot of time alone together (with the 5 kiddos), but when we do you can find us on our couch watching an episode of “Fixer Upper” or “Izombie” Maybe even Riverdale. With ice cream, or coffee and a blanket. The perfect end to a usually busy day.
Reach for the moon even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars! 🌙 QOTD :)
