I'm a knitter, papercrafter, gardener, cook, and happy dog mommy to two little spaniels.

I've been crafting seriously for about 15 years. I recently became a Stampin' Up demonstrator, which I love. They have such wonderful products.

My other favorite paper companies are Graphic 45, Authentique, and Tim Holtz.

Some of my favorite things include Victorian ephemera, vintage ephemera, floral ephemera, silk ribbon, antique brads, little items like keys, keyholes, drawer pulls, interesting paperclips, I Am Roses flowers, Petaloo flowers, pretty paper flowers, flat-backed pearls in different colors, bling, and so forth.

I enjoy making mini albums and layered cards using lots of embellishments.

I DON'T like neon or really bright colors, tea, child-like paper or designs (no kids), cutsie themes like Precious Moments-style stuff, sports themes (although I do love sports!), Disney, outdoors (I've got a ton of that already), primary colors (exception: red).

Movies: Action flicks/sci-fi! Also old-timey like The Remains of the Day, Monuments Men, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, etc. I also enjoy comedies such as Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect, and This is 40. Dramas are good, too. I like movies.

Books: I read a lot of mysteries. Most set in Victorian England, although I enjoy Daniel Silva, PD James, Elizabeth Peters, Donna Leon, Anne Perry, Dan Brown, and the like, too.

TV: I like sci-fi (Battlestar Galactica-reboot series/Stargate/Star Trek), The Goldbergs, Modern Family, Foyle's War, Sherlock, The Fall, The Wire, Madam Secretary, Game of Thrones. Also football, basketball and women's soccer. I have diverse TV tastes!
