New more cheerful update!! We have moved to an amazing place in remote Tasmania. We are about 2 hours from the nearest town and completely surrounded by bush land and wildlife. We are running school camps which is awesome fun. I miss the relationships I had with my students in the class but it is great to see kids having loads of fun! I am hoping the beautiful place I am in will help bring back my creativity and I will make some awesome dolls from clay and fabric. It is very very cold here and I am going to learn to dye and spin wool during the winter which I am so looking forward to.

My world is an absolute mess at the moment. I am doing my best to get swaps out and once they are all done I will have a break for a bit. I have had 3 deaths in the last year, medical issues and am not coping with the universe. All swaps are being done to the best of my ability. I am not logging on as often as I simply do not have time so if you send me a message please don't think I am being rude.

I am kerri and i live in Tasmania in Australia. I have a little boy who is 3 and we live with my husband, dog, cat,guinnea pig, horses and millions of wallabies, wombats, echidna and platypus. I love bright funky colours and things that people would not necesserally say matches. I adore old school smurfs, fraggle rock, strawberry shortcake and stuff like that, big bright happy flowers and crazy clashing patterns rock my world. My favourite colour would have to be fusha or any bright happy type colour. I am not the biggest fan of yellow though! I am not really a browns kind of a girl but in there place i love them e.g as a background for pink flowers etc. Fabric with those scary birds in cages freak me out. I think birds should be flying free and not in cages. I love crazy alien, gothic, vampireish, witchy stuff and scary zombie type things.

I do loads of sewing - i make everything from clothing to handbags to curtains. i love sewing it relaxes me, i love the sounds of the bobbin being wound on and the magical wow, look what i have done feeling when i hold the item up and snip the last thread. Ilove making stuff for others but do not like to sell it. Quirky things make me giggle and i love to giggle. I have not read a lot since my bubby came along but often listen to mystry murder type stories on my mp3 player. i love crime stories and often get lost in the crime channel on tv. While i have a cat i am not a cat lover, i perfer my little dog who was once a camp dog and still dreams about chasing pigs. We also have 2 hermit crabs and a bird. I love animals and would adopt them all if my husband would let me. I perfer silver to gold. I really truely appreciate efforts that other people make for me.

Ohhhhhha wish list. I what the world to be gentle and kind but since that can not be posted I love funky zippered bags like pencil or make up bags. fat quarters of any kind Cotton in different colours Pens, especially gel Sculpty clay or anything to do with it, tools, molds ets. i have my l plates on but I am really enjoying learning how to play with it. Sticky notes Tea pots, old, new, anything interesting. I love teapots! I am a teacher so any thing school ish Shiny stuff of any description Vintage stuff ESP jewels I am not much of a scrap booker but I love stickers of any description love zippered up bags or bags of any description. love sewing so anything sewing related lip balm - particually natural home made oh and i have a love of hat pins (badges) i have a map that i put them all on. Unicorns are cool as are any mythical little creature. Fairies Vampires and ghouls, I have a not so secret dark side that loves horror, monsters and ghost stories! Wind chimes or any cool hanging thing to hang in the school camp, sun catchers etc.

I am left handed and sometimes think i see the world differently way to everyone else. If I have made you something and you think it is backwards it is probably not, it is just made by a left handed girl who can not draw a straight line with a ruler. All my love is in it though and it just adds to your items quirky hand made ness!!! I tend to make on the cute side rather than really scary stuff but am happy to give scary a go if that is your style. Just let me know please. I love fairies, wind chimes and cool interesting little creature that I can put around the place. I am fascinated by crystals, tarot and orical cards and such and love books about any thing supernatural, ghosts hauntings psychic etc. I am most happy in a Chrystal shop! I adore and use a lot of spicy kind of smells including oils and incense, I also love vanilla smell.

My father passed away July 2011 and I have been looking a bit deeper at myself and my focus. I have always been attracted to goddess and for want of a better word pagan natural lifestyle but now my interest is stirred more and more. I would love to hear your stories.

My fathers last name was wren and that has become important to me so I am on the hunt for wrens of any description, old, new on fabric, figurines old jewelry etc. Also stick insects have became important to me. I adore their long legs and desire to be on the tallest thing possible. Not crickets or grass hoppers though. Those big amazing stick insects.

Postage seems to take a year and a day to get anywhere from here. Please be patient. I am a big heart giver, you will generally get a heart just for sending something I can see you thought about.

I have a huge etsy list with heaps of different priced things on it. Please don't let this freak you out! I often give the list to family and friends as gift ideas. If you see something on it and you are able to make it as part of a swap please feel free to do so.

After being here a while and learning and getting better at craft stuff I have developed more of a love for the strange and unusual. I love thinks in jars, strange and scary looking dolls and jewelry. Not much offends me but I do prefer non animal products. If there is bone or something that is cool providing the animal was not killed to get it. I generally prefer longer necklaces as it is very hot here and I don't like thinks tight around my neck. I am not a huge ear ring wearing person although I have received several amazing pairs here. I generally only wear nice ones out and don't seem To go out much! I wear silver. Love toe rings and really old or unusual pieces. If you raid your nanas draw and find a strange little bent up pendant or un recognizable thing, that would be perfect. I adore things with a story, if you don't know the story make it up!

I have a tree in my house full of strange dolls and monsters and such. The stranger and more disturbing the better. I would love anything to hang in my tree!

We are moving down to Tassie in December which I am really looking forward to. We are taking on the running of a school camp which I am sure is going to be challenging and amazingly rewarding. I got to a point in my world where if I did not do something dramatic things were going to get worse and worse so this is my dramatic move and I hope with all my heart it works out!
