Mother of 2, grandmother of 4. I teach Spanish on the high school level, so I enjoy all types of Spanish music, watch foreign films, etc. My maternal grandfather was born and raised in Honduras and he instilled in me the desire to learn his native tongue. I enjoy knitting and it is way for me to relax after a stressful day with teenagers :) Socks have become a passion for me, it is fascinating to see a sock take shape.

I love treating myself to a fine dark chocolate. I have become accustomed to chocolate with at least 60% cacao .... anything less seems to be too sweet tasing... I also like to treat myself to a wonderful cup of tea...with a biscotti.. something "out of the ordinary" to have for a treat just makes it more special and on stressful days it is nice to treat yourself this way

I have a sensitivty to chemicals and anything like scented candles etc can truly bother me. I have to be extremely careful when I select a scented candle to use in my home, the wrong one can make me sick, the same is true for hand lotions, etc.
